I was never accustomed to bachelorette parties, my knowledge only went as far as what I watched on TV which was women in male stripper clubs getting grinded on as they emptied their pockets.
Because it was planned on short notice we decided to have a small one at my house. We were all very comfortably dressed, I was in denim shorts, a string top and an oversized cardigan and both Jayana and Anny were in short dresses. Anny made a playlist of all her favourite songs and played the music loudly to suit the mood. She had also asked Matthew to be a male stripper for the night, I knew she was joking but by the horrified look on his face it was clear he would say no regardless.
So far everything was going great, we were dancing and laughing and playing all sorts of games. Sure it wasn't as wild as other parties but we made the most of it.
"So I have another game we can play," Anny said with tiny cups in her hands and a bottle of what looked like Scotch. "Why don't we play truth or dare?"
"No not truth or dare again," I said crossing my legs while sitting on the floor.
"Well, what else can we play?" Jayana with her voice muffled as she stuffed her mouth with gram crackers.
I mentally went through all of the stuff we had already done for that night and we had already done and played every game some of them even twice it made sense too because it was almost midnight.
"Okay hear me out," I began. " Why don't we play drink if?"
Anny turned to look at me bug-eyed, I suppose considering that I wasn't a drinker shocked her to a degree that I would consider that.
"Drink if?" Jayana asked equally astonished. "As in with alcohol?"
"Why not?" I tried to negotiate with her. "We're just the three of us here and we have each other's backs. I promise it will just be a little alcohol. "
" Who are you and what have you done to Graciella ?" Anny teased and I rolled my eyes at her.
"I don't know," Jayana sounded unsure.
" It will just be a little," I tried to convince her. " I mean look at it this way, this party is as clean as can be, we have no male strippers here or anything."
Jayana looked from me to Anny before she finally agreed.
"As long as it's a little," she added.
We sat down in a circle with our legs crossed as we filled a small cup with the scotch Anny conveniently brought on her way here.
"Okay we start with you, bride-to-be," Anny said. " Drink if ....Matt is the only guy you've made out with during your relationship. "
"Really?" Jayanna complained.
"Drink if you are a faithful woman m'lady."
She rolled her eyes and gaggled down the drink. Her lips puckered and her face wrinkled up at the taste, then after a few seconds, she relaxed and nodded her head.
"Not bad right ?" Anny asked smiling at Jayana.
"Well, ......it tastes kind of sweet. "
"See, this is not so bad after all. "
After about an hour I had more scotch in my system than what I needed and I unadmittedly started to feel light-headed.
"Your turn again Gracie," Jayana said with a sneaky smile on her face.
"Let's go," I cheered raising an empty glass. I was seriously losing it.
"Okay okay," Anny said matching my excitement. " I have a good one." She cleared her throat and poured me a quarter glass of scotch. " Drink if you have made out Teddy before "
"What? No, I haven't. Teddy is my friend."
"You seem to be the only one who sees it that way."
"What ?" I felt myself sober up a little. " What do you mean?"
"I mean," She said emptying the cup I didn't " Teddy has a huge crush on you and you are too wrapped up around Emiliano to see it. "
"Hold up I probably had too much alcohol, I must be hallucinating what you're saying. "
"Poor Teddy," Jayana added. " He's so cute."
"Enough you guys," I said. "Teddy is my friend and he does not have a crush on me, nor am I wrapped around Emiliano ."
"Okay then," Anny said pouring another cup and sliding it over to me.
"I already took my turn," I complained.
"Don't be a party popper Gracie, plus you can avoid it by not drinking to the question. Now, drink if you don't have a crush on Teddy. "
"Really Anny?" I complained, " I just said - you know what,?" I cut my sentence short and drunk. " I love this drink anyway," I exclaimed.
"Someone's loosening up a little too much," Jayana said giggling. "I have another one for you. " Jayana was the one pouring me a glass now. " Drink if you like Emiliano ."
"Guys, this again," I rolled my eyes. " Emiliano is freaking hot and cheers to that. " I said taking another glass as Anny and Jayana burst out in laughter.
"Okay okay," Anny said pouring the third glass. " Drink if Emiliano likes you if he shows any sign at all. "
"The hell would I know," I said taking another glass and this time Jayana and Anny took one each themselves.
I started to feel hot out of nowhere and began to take off my cardigan leaving me with the string top I had on. I started to fan myself with my hands and walked to where the Bluetooth speaker was to increase the volume.
"Are you okay Gracie?" Jayana asked sounding.
"Of course, I just want to blow off some steam. " I smiled reassuredly. " When the song come on let me see ya get gone....Baby Mama!! ...wooohh ." I sang along and moved my waist and shoulders to the song. "How do I even know this song? I asked happily.
"Gracie," Anny said suppressing a laugh. " I think you're drunk ."
"No," I let out a snort.
"Okay honey, come sit down," she said negotiating with me.
"No," I moved away from her. " I don't want to sit, I need air, I just need to go outside. " I said walking to the window and not caring what floor I was on. Lucky for me, it wasn't a long way down and I landed on the ground perfectly and into the bushes.
"Graciella, are you crazy!" I heard Jayana hiss from the windows. But I was too focused on getting out of there.
"Come on," I heard Anny say as I began to sneak around the guards on watch. "We need to follow her. "
