Mia POV

"Harder." Dad said as I went to punch him, but he moved out of the way before I could make contact. "Mia, a vampire eight times your age is coming. You're roadkill at this point."

"Gee thanks," I groaned as he flipped me onto the floor. He helped me up as Stefan walked in the room, raising an eyebrow at us. "Dads trying to make a point I can't defend myself or Tyler."

"Tyler's going to be a wolf soon, Mia. The moment those chains break, run as soon as you can. Okay?" I nodded to my uncle, but I could tell he wanted to ask me something.

"What did Elijah want with you? We went to the tomb to ask on him, but Katherine told me you both have a plan of your own, that you want the ritual to happen."

"Elena will be hunted for by a hybrid okay? There's no guarantee that we can even stop it so I made a backup plan. I plan on handing Katherine over with a bow to Klaus. He's been chasing her forever, I keep her in one place and he owes me. That's a vampire. Then we hand over Jules for the wolf."

"And how do we get Jules?" Dad asked as he poured some bourbon. "We haven't seen her in a while. Not since she's killed Rose."

"She's a wolf. She'll be forced to go through a change same way as Tyler. When she was giving him help, she told him where she takes her pack to transition in the woods. We stab her with some wolfsbane and keep her locked up until Klaus comes."

"You're genius." Stefan smirked as he grabbed a glass too. "But Elena?"

"Bonnie mentioned to me she's working on something. Elena will be used for the sacrifice, but she won't stay dead. She used it for Jeremy, she could use it for Elena. Everyone wins and everyone lives."

"So what do we do?" Dad asked, "I have no problem killing Katherine."

"I'll tell you the location the night Jules goes to transition. You and uncle Stefan can go together in case anything and I'll stay with Tyler. Caroline will be with me too just in case while Bonnie stays with Elena."

"You trust Elijah?" Uncle Stefan asked, causing me to nod.

"I gave him the dagger. I wanted to prove to him, he could trust me. Trust goes both ways and he even told Katherine he cares for me."

"We trust you, baby. Just not him. But we have your back." Dad walked over to me, hugging me and I smiled into his leather. It made me happy knowing they were trusting my plans as a equal, not as some child who didn't know what she was doing.

"Go get ready for school we leave in ten minutes." Uncle Stefan said and I raced to go get changed. I slid on my converse as I skipped to my uncles car, giving my dad a kiss on the cheek as we left.

"Don't worry about Elena okay? She'll be fine at the end." I said to him as I could see wordy written all over his face.

"It's not her safety I'm concerned for." Uncle gave me a pointed look and I looked at him in confusion. "Mia, you're my niece. I love Elena, but don't ever think anyone comes before you. You're plotting against Klaus and that could mean big trouble for you."

"I'm not plotting against him. I'm earning brownie points from him. We give him what he wants and he leaves as soon as possible."

We got off the car once we got to school and Elena immediately came to us. We all walked to History, the two of them making me feel like a third wheel but I ignored it as I slid in my seat.

Ric came in, glancing around the classroom until his eyes landed on Elena. I figured he was worried for her, until I saw something in his eyes. Something that didn't feel right about him.

I didn't want to raise suspicion so I let his slide. Whatever was going on with Ric, we were in a class full of students so nothing could happen. I slid out my phone, sending a quick text to Tyler.

To Babe: Do you have class with Alaric today??

Babe: No why?

To Babe: I'll tell you after school

I put away my phone and saw Ric staring at me. Normally he would tell me to stay off my phone during class but he didn't. He stared at me like he didn't know me and that's when I knew something was wrong.

Class got dismissed and I smiled up at my uncle, "I'll meet up with you guys at lunch." They left the class and I walked to the door, locking it when it was just us two.

"What's wrong with you today?" I asked Ric, who looked confused. "Is it because we killed Elijah?" I smirked inwardly when rage brewed behind his eyes and he glared at me.

"You didn't tell me that."

"That's because it didn't happen, Klaus." I snapped at him, widening my eyes when I felt myself being shoved against the wall. "If you kill me, Elijah wouldn't forgive you."

"I didn't think you'd catch on this quick, little one. I've been around the Salvatore's for days and not one noticed. Who are you?"

"First, personal space. So back up." I glared him down before he took a few steps backwards. "I'm Mia Salvatore. Damon's biological daughter. Now, before you go to rip my head off, I have a gift for you."

"Do tell." He smirked as he paced in front of me slowly, trying to intimidate me. "If it's a favor you're looking for, this gift better be worth while."

"It is. I have something you want. Something you've been looking for." I smirked at him, giving him my best Damon attitude. "Katherine Pierce."
