The smell of coffee met your nostrils as soon you entered the cafe. Kaito was as busy a person as Gakupo, so he was always on the move, either for ice-cream or work. Sure enough, you did see Kaito sitting at his usual place by the window. You joined him at his table and so did Len.
"Hello Kaito!"
"Hey Kaito!"
Kaito looked up from his work to see both you and Len. You had to admit, Kaito looked good with glasses.
"Why if it isn't (Y/N) and Len, what brings you two here?"
"We want to ask you if you've seen any bananas in fridge in the house earlier on."
Kaito furrowed his eyebrows.
"Bananas? Nope, I haven't bought any yet. What happened?"
You explained to Kaito the whole story. Kaito nodded his head and adjusted his glasses.
"Well, that explains why there was an awful lot of banana peels at the back garden of the house..."
You and Len shared hopeful glances.
"What else did you see?!"
"Well, just that. I threw away the banana peels after I had my lunch, then when I went out again I saw even more banana peels on the grass! So again I had to clean up and I reached the office 10 minutes late thanks to that! Most likely the culprit behind all these is somewhere at the back of our house..."
Both of you got up simultaneously with sparkly eyes.
"Len do you know what that means?! We can finally catch the culprit!"
"C'mon! Let's go before we're too late!"
