"We have to get back in there. They're gonna kill each other and Peace and Jennifer along with them!" Nelly shouted and ran to the stone door of the crypt.
Samson and Darryl also went to the door and began trying to push it aside but it was just too heavy.
"We can't move it! We need help." Samson said.
"Carl!!!" Darryl called out to him but he didn't appear.
Out of desperation, Darryl picked up the axe that was still outside and began hitting the door. He hit it multiple times but could not cause even a scratch.
"Darryl, stop! It's pointless!" Samson said to him.
"Then what were we supposed to do? Huh? Just sit out here and let those two ancient hags kill our girls?" Darryl asked angrily and continued hitting the door.
Carl's spirit finally appeared before them and immediately Darryl saw him, he ran to him.
"Carl, you have to open the door so we can stop them from killing our friends." Darryl said to him.
They could hear the battle going on inside. They could hear the damage and the explosions. It was loud and clearly very physical.
"Even if I open the door, you wouldn't be able to get close enough before you're destroyed by their magic. We need a plan and thankfully, I have one." Carl said.
"Okay, what's your plan?" Nelly asked.
"In order to get their spirits out of Miss Jennifer and Miss Peace, I'll need them neutralized long enough to perform the spell. The shackles have been destroyed and they weren't even strong enough but the Cage of Hilliusa is." Carl said.
"What cage? And who's Hilliusa?" Samson asked.
"There's a magical cage inside the crypt. It's not like regular cages as there are no doors or bars. It was created a millennia ago by the elder witches led by their queen Hilliusa so that if there ever came a time when a witch became too powerful that she couldn't be stopped or killed, she would be locked up inside the cage and all her powers would be useless." Carl said.
"I didn't see any cage while we were in there, Carl," Samson mentioned.
"It's by the end of the north wall, the one with the three-pointed star drawn on it. If a witch is close enough, the barrier will appear and with one phrase, they'll be trapped." Carl told him.
"But you said it yourself, we can't get close enough to them. How are we supposed to get them to the wall so we can lock them in the cage?" Nelly asked.
"With this!" Carl said and put his hand out.
A vial with some kind of substance in it suddenly materialized out of thin air and it hovered over his hand.
"What is this?" Darryl asked.
"It's garlic powder, also known as Witcher's Dust. When we go in, I'll need you to pour it on your hands and blow it in the room. The dust will travel until it comes in contact with them." Carl said to Darryl.
"What does it do?" Nelly asked.
"It's like sleeping powder but it only works on witches. There isn't enough to keep them asleep for long so as soon as it takes effect, get them to the wall so I can lock them up. Are you ready?" Carl asked.
"Yes. Let's do this." Darryl said and took the vial.
Carl said the incantations to open the door to the crypt and it slowly rolled open.
****
Carl said the opening spell and the huge stone door slowly rolled open. Just then, a huge statue was thrown towards the entrance and it almost hit Nelly if it wasn't for Sam who pulled him out of the way.
