"What are you talking about? What's a Witch Dagger?" Nelly asked Moriah.
She was dumbfounded by their ignorance.
"You mean to tell me that you don't know anything about a Witch's Dagger?" Moriah asked, but the kids just stared at her, oblivious to anything that she was saying.
"What has that spirit, Carl, or whatever his name is, been telling you all?" She asked.
"Just tell us what it is," Samson said rudely.
"Oh, I'll tell you what it is! It's the only weapon in the entire world that can kill your little monster curse." Moriah said.
"What do you mean the only weapon? We thought we could kill him with any weapon." Darryl said.
"It seems you've stabbed the beast several times, did it hurt it in any way?" She asked.
"Well, yeah it did," Darryl answered.
"And did it ever slow him down at all?"
"Well, no it didn't. But we thought he would get weaker after we burned the cloth and a stab to the heart would be enough to kill him."
"Well, it won't, unless it's done with her Witch Dagger," Moriah said.
"What is a Witch Dagger?" Peace asked again.
Moriah floated above them and began to explain what a Witch's Dagger was, using her powers to provide images to help better explain what she was saying.
"A Witch Dagger is the only weapon that can kill a witch's physical body. When a Witch is fully trained, she is given a dagger made from her blood by the other witches in her coven. This dagger is a symbol of growth and mastery of the most difficult spells and it means that you are a fully-fledged witch. A Witch's skin can't be pierced by any other weapon apart from her blood dagger. It becomes a very important tool in performing spells that require a witch's blood as it is the only weapon that can make a witch bleed." Moriah said.
"Why do we need it to kill Kristokulos?" Jennifer asked.
"You need it because Kristokulos was created with Constance's blood. I've read about the curse she placed on him and I know what it involves. When Constance put drops of her blood on the cloth, she linked with the monster, giving him some of her physical properties which included being able to be killed only by her dagger. If Kristopher had been a woman, then none of your weapons would have been able to pierce his skin because only women could become witches. Men can practice witchcraft but they could never be as powerful as a female witch. Her dagger is the only thing that can kill him. Do you understand?" Moriah finished.
"That's why her apprentice was a man, because she didn't want him to become too powerful and maybe do to her what she did to you." Peace said to Moriah.
"She was smart and that's not good for us because she must have hidden her Dagger in a very secret location which is probably why her butler apprentice didn't know about it. He probably doesn't even know about their existence." Moriah said.
Nelly sat down on the floor, unhappy about this new information.
"We've been through shit trying to find the key to the box. We were mauled, brainwashed, hypnotized, possessed, and almost killed just to get that little key and it turns out that it's not even the most important thing we need. How are we supposed to find the dagger? Where do we even begin to look?" Nelly lamented.
"I don't know. Every witch had a different method for hiding their Dagger. I took mine with me everywhere that I went but as for Constance, I do not know." Moriah said.
