After everything

New friend

So I may or may not be working on a new book for one of my characters 😏

Cora's pov

Today is the day me and violet are meeting up and I'm so excited I love making new friends because I struggled so much when I was younger to make them

Logan wasn't very happy when I told him I needed to go back to my apartment because of violet so I reassured him I would be back tomorrow morning

But when I do see him tomorrow I'm going to try and have the talk with him because we have been acting like we are together even violet thought we were married so we definitely need to talk about what we are

Conversations like these never go well but how else am I supposed to know how he feels about me ?

Hearing a knock on the door I try my hardest not to jump up in the air but god I feel like a little kids right now getting ready for a birthday party even though it's not even close

Opening up the door I see violet standing there in cute little floral purple dress

I guess her favourite colour is purple

"Hey" I say grab her and pull her into a hug

"Hey how are you?" She asks still in my embrace and I nod my head "I'm all good how are you though was the doctors alright ?"

She nods her head fast "everything's great" and she lets out a very big smile

"That's good now cmon I want you to come in and eat my delicious food" I pull her inside and lock the door it's become habit now

After checking the locks I turn around and see violet looking around like she is in a princess castle "your place is really nice" she says while Turing her head back towards me

Smiling towards her i lead her into the living room "so what do you wanna do ?" I ask as we both sit down on the sofa

"I'm not fussed whatever's done I'm just happy I actually have someone to hang out with" she leans her head back on the pillow and places a hand on her stomach

"How far along are you?" I ask curiously you never know I might have to throw some joint baby showers

"Oh 17 weeks"

I smile and touch her bump "you wanna find out what the gender is or not ?" I ask because I'm always too much of a control freak to not know

When Sophia was pregnant with Roman she had to get the doctor to tell me what the gender was going to be because I was stressing about what things to buy them

The same thing happened with Luna but I'm trying to be too much of a control freak now so I don't know what gender Sophs baby right now is

"I'm not bothered about finding out as long as they are healthy I couldn't give a shit" I can't but feel  a bit of sadness

Maybe if I didn't find out the gender of Jaclyn maybe she still would of been here with me right now

"Omg are you okay?" Violet  and quickly sits up in her seat and wipes the tears away I didn't even know were there "oh shit I'm sorry" god I feel embarrassed

"Hey it's ok don't worry" she reassures me

I can't believe I started crying what the fuck is wrong with me "I'm sorry" I say once more but violet pulls me into one of the biggest hugs I've ever had "you don't have to be sorry about something you can't control" she whispers into my ear

She's been through something similar

Pulling out of the hug I smile at her "how about I go get the food you pick out the film"

Violet nods her head "sounds great"

After we both sat down again violet put on avatar which I'm not complaining about that film is pure perfection

Finishing off our good somehow we ended up violets head on my lap and her giving me leg rub

"If I could fuck anyone right now it would be jake" violet says basically moaning out his name which makes me laugh

"Omg Violet" I can't stop laughing

She lifts her head up and turns around to look at me "what he's hot" she defends her herself

"Whatever you say babe" I kiss her forehead and lie back down this girl

"You should stay here tonight" I say to Violet she doesn't have a car and would be walking back to her place and I can't have that happening

Placing her hands on her hips she gives me the pregnant lady glare "Cora I am a 26 year old woman who walks home by herself every night I will be fine"

I shake my head "what happens if something happens just stay here and I can drop you off tomorrow please" I insist I really don't want her walking home by herself

"Fine but I can walk in the morning I've got work anyway" I nod my head and smile

"Cmon I'll get you some pjs" I Motion for her to follow me which she does and I lead in her into my guest room and pull out some comfy floral pjs for her to wear

Turing around I hand them to her and she smiles "thank you"

"No problem just call me if you need me and help yourself to anything" I give her hug and close the door to give her some privacy

Walking into my room I check my phone and see Logan messaged me

Logan

I miss you

When are you coming home

Coraaaaa

I can't help but laugh at his messages for me who knew Logan can be a bit clingy

I'm here and I miss you too good night 🤍

He start type back instantly

Good night my love
