Chapter 5
Daniel appeared behind the two of you so you looked back. You gave him a small wave as he blushed when he looked at you and awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. "Uhm... Thank you." He said to Crystal.
Gun frowned as he looked at the way Daniel looked at you. "The other girl almost won but..."
He got cut off by Crystal who was beside you, "Hey, you." You looked at the taller girl. "What is wrong with her? You think you're so hot?" She frowned. "I think you're deluded. You think I bought you because I like you?" You and Daniel both gasped.
"C-Crystal...?" You said, bewildered at the girl's behavior.
"Why the hell does he want me to keep my eye on him?" Crystal murmured. "Do not look down on others just because you're handsome." Crystal turned around, with you and Daniel looking at her back. Gun looked at you as he opened the door, seemingly not wanting to go just yet.
"Let's go," Crystal said and she smiled in your direction. "I'll be off now–" She got cut off when Daniel tried to grab her wrist, wanting to clear the misunderstanding.
"Just a sec." Gun held his wrist, preventing him from going any further.
"That's enough." The grip was firm. "Who do you think you're going to touch?"
You gasped, "Daniel!" You called out for him but Daniel shook off the tight grip easily. "Let... Let go!"
Gun and Crystal were both shocked. Seeing him shaking Gun off that easily when they both know how strong he is. You went to Daniel's side and slightly bowed. "I'm sorry for Daniel. Please, don't fight." You said and held Daniel's shoulder as you tried to protect him, which irked the two more.
