Chapter 6
"Hey, Namsoo. You're always on Craigslist, right?" You heard Zack say, talking to the student named Namsoo.
It was another peaceful morning in J High, with you playing on your phone as Jay watched from your side.
"I can't find the LTD Edition Jordans. Find some for me." Said Zack, again, who was trying to be kind. "I'm not good at using Craigslist. So help out." But of course, the man was still misunderstood by Namsoo, thinking that Zack was ordering him to do something for him or else, he was going to get beat up.
When Namsoo went home that day, he was panicking while scrolling down on the site, because how can he find those sneakers with the money Zack gave him? He should've told Zack, yes, but the poor guy was afraid.
After trying to find someone who would agree to let him buy the sneakers the superstar DG wore for $300, finally, someone accepted. Though, isn't suspicious? Don't worry! He was totally fooled by a pretty girl's profile picture on messenger! Asking for a meet-up, the woman gave the go signal.
The next day, he told Zack that he was going to the meet-up place. Zack even told him that he doesn't have to, but Namsoo made up an excuse of wanting to help Zack eagerly and that he was really good at spotting fake products.
"Something's really off about this..." You muttered but let it go. Wasn't your problem.
Long story short, he was mugged and beaten up.
That was why the next day, his face is all swollen and bruised up. The three of you, Zack, Daniel, and you looked at Namsoo in disbelief. "They stole it all?"
"You must've been scared. I really should've gone." Zack scratched the back of his head. "It's my fault." Namsoo looked touched, that was before Zack added, "I hope you aren't lying to me." With a scary face.
"Zack, (Y/N), what are you guys talking about?" Yui suddenly popped out of nowhere, clinging to your arms.
"Oh, hey, Yui." You smiled at her. She seems like a changed woman so you decided to be nice to her.
