Seungmin went into full panic mode. The second he felt his heart race and butterflies twirling around in his stomach, he ran.

There was no way in absolute hell that Kim Seungmin liked him.

It happened around two months after the "incident". Seungmin was listening to Han record his part of their new song, when his heart started to race.

All of a sudden, he was thinking about how his voice was beautiful. In awe, Seungmin stared at the older, lips slightly parted. His eyes trailed up and down at the one who hated him. He took in everything. The way his hair fell on his forehead, the veins in his neck, the way he was sitting.

And that's when it hit him.

Oh shit.

Abruptly standing up, Seungmin practically ran out of the recording room and found himself in the near by bathroom.

"There's no way... Nooooo, Seungmin cried, slapping his face, " Snap out of it! You can't like him! You're already trying to get over Min. You can't start liking him of all people. "

With a deep, shaky sigh, Seungmin slid down the door as tears pricked his eyes. He couldn't believe it.

Knock knock.

Seungmin slowly stood up and opened the bathroom door to see Bang Chan standing there, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hey... Minnie... Are you truly okay?"

"Better than ever, " Seungmin mumbled, hiding has face in his hands. He wiped away whatever was trying to fall and smiled at Chan. "Why do you ask? "

Chan stepped closer and placed his hands on the younger's shoulders. "Seungminnie. Honestly. "

Seungmin sighed, pulling away from the other. "I just-it's really hard you know? " Seungmin said, his voice trembling. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around himself. "I've never felt this way about a person before. And now it seems that I'm falling for two people, " he rushed.

Chan froze.

"T-two people? May I ask who? "

"Um... Uh... Well... Han, " he replied, looking up to see Chan deadpan.

"You're joking, right? "

"... "

"Kim Seungmin. I can not believe your luck. I know you can't help it but... You gotta do something. I hate to say this but maybe you should just avoi-"

"Are you telling me that I would just stop being friends with them? They are family. I would- how could you- seriously?? " Seungmin said, voice raising.

"Well... I'm not saying you shouldn't be friends with them but you can't be around them if you are crushing that hard. "

"Whatever, Chan. You're full of shit, " Seungmin retorted, pushing past the older.

"Minnie-"

"Don't even, " angrily, Seungmin stormed out of the studio. He couldn't believe Chan's suggestion. How could he not be with his best friends? His family?

Pathetic,

He thought as he felt the tears on his cheeks.

I am so unbelievably pathetic.

He decided to just head home and take a break from working. So he walked back to the dorm and lay on the living room couch. His plan was to watch TV but he ended up examining his lyrics. He studied them with a frown. They were so true yet... There was something off. Considering this new situation, they weren't entirely accurate.

So of course, he rewrote the lyrics.

He was almost asleep when he heard the sound of laughter flooding the dorm followed by some keys jingling and some rushed footsteps.

His heart raced, knowing who the two people were. He clutched it as if trying to tell it to calm down. He turned around and looked back at the two. Lee Know waved and Han gave him a disgusted look.

How could I just ignore them?

"Hi..." Seungmin said shyly.

Lee Know bowed and said hi back, motioning for his boyfriend to do the same. But Han took one look and started to walk off.

"Hey... " he mumbled back.

Seungmin smiled widely, turning back around and facing the TV. Han finally said something to him. Now, he was one step closer to Han forgiving him. But slowly, a frown crept on his face. He doubted Han actually meant anything by it.

He probably only said that cause of Lee Know...

Seungmin couldn't get the two our of his head. He spent all night rolling and turning. But his mind kept flashing images. It scared him. He didn't want to like either of them. They were his best friends. Family. But at the same time, he couldn't see why he wouldn't.

He didn't want to admit to any of it. He hated the fact that he liked Han. But he couldn't deny it no matter how much he wanted to. No matter how he looked at it, he just couldn't find a way out. And there was no way he was going to ditch them.

Unless...

But he couldn't.

He wouldn't.

But... He did.

Maybe I'm just tired... ♫

♫Maybe the time isn't right... ♫
