"Minnie, do you happen to... Like-"

"No! Nononono I don't know what you're talking about, " Seungmin stuttered, waving his hands in the youngers face.

"Are you sure because-"

"Yes. I'm absolutely, positively 100% sure. "

"Seungmin."

  Silence.

  "I'm going to ask you one more time. And if you say no, I promise to leave you alone but please trust me enough to tell me the truth. Do you like Han? "

  Seungmin froze.

Han? He thinks I like Han??

  "Uh yeah, no, " he replied bluntly. "No Offense to Han but he talks a little too much. "

"Then-"

"Lee Know. I like Lee Know. "

  Jeongin stayed deathly silent. "Seungmin that's not good. "

"Duh."

"Seungmin"

"What?? "

"You gotta get over him. It's not going to be pr-"

"Don't you think I know that? I've been trying to get over him for the last month. It's not working. The more I distance myself, the more I feel myself working to get closer. That's why I don't talk to him anymore. The moment I utter a word, I know I won't be able to stop. It sickens me, " Seungmin choked out.

  Slowly, Jeongin reached forward and pulls Seungmin into an embrace. "Do you want me to help you? "

  Seungmin sighed. "No. I won't be able to properly get over him if I'm being guided like I'm blind. I need to do it myself. But... Thank you. You're the best. "

Sadly, getting over Lee Know couldn't be anymore difficult.

  It was around 10 pm when Seungmin decided to sneak out if the dorm while the others were eating dinner. All he needed was some fresh air and a nice long walk and he would be fine.

  Seungmin made sure to grab his notebook just in case there was a smidge of inspiration floating around in the air. Hearing the laughter of the other members made Seungmin a little sad, knowing that he was missing out. But he needed this. Shaking his head, he walked past the others without a word.

"Seungmin? "

  Felix got up from the table and looked towards the younger. "Are you not going to have some food? "

  "I'll eat later. I'm not hungry, " Seungmin lied. The truth was that he was starving but he couldn't stand another minute being in the same room witph Lee Know and Han.

  Not allowing himself to hear any further comment, he stuck his earbuds in and rushed out the door.

  Seungmin looked up as he walked. The stars were abundant this particular night and shone like they were trying to show him something beautiful. The branches of the near by trees looked as if they were stretching out towards him, trying to reach him. The wind seemed to pull him in an unknown direction.

Then the feeling was gone.

  Within an instant, the stars seemed to shine less, the trees seemed to shrink into the darkness, and the wind seemed to cease to exist.

  It was calm. But not in a good way. All of a sudden, he felt cold. All of a sudden, he felt worse than before. Like he could throw up at any moment. Seungmin struggled to go on. He didn't know whether he should turn right or left or turn around. Checking the time, he noticed that it was already 11:28. But did he really want to go back to a place where his heart would just continue to break?

  He decided he would take a minute to calm himself at the nearby park before heading back. Slowly, he looked at his surroundings. There were trees, and a few people here and there, and maybe a squirrel or two.

"Stupid squirrels, " Seungmin sighed. "They ruin everything, " he scribbled in his notebook.

"Oh look, my best song yet. "

  He was silent for a moment longer as he looked up at the moon until he realized that he was crying again. He felt his cheeks and looked at the tears glisten in the moonlight. And without being able to control himself, he choked out a sob.

He stayed there for the next hour doing that very thing.

"Seungmin?? "

  Seungmin cringed as he shut the door and stepped into the hallway of the dorm. He recognized the unforgettable voice.

  "Seungmin, where the hell were you?" Lee Know came out of the darkness. "Why were you gone for so long? "

"No where, " he replied simply. I just took a walk.

"For two hours? Seungmin, I was scared you got hurt, " Lee Know tried to reach out to him but Seungmin pulled his arm away.

  Without looking at the older, he replied, "what do you care? "

  Lee Know scoffed, "what do you mean 'what do you care'? I'm your friend. Of course I fucking care. Why are you acting up? "

"Leave me alone please. "

"Was it something I did? "

"... No. "

"You hesitated. What did I do? Shit... Seungmin. Please tell me what I did. I'll try to fix it, I p-"

"You did nothing wrong Minho, just drop it! " Seungmin stormed last him and slammed his door shut.

  But Lee Know knew. He knew it was something he did. Seungmin never called him Minho before unless it was before he changed his name. Cursing, Lee Know tried to think about what he could have possibly done wrong. Everything he had ever done.

Was I too harsh on him? Am I really that mean... ?

  But Lee Know didn't fully understand. It wasn't Lee Know that Seungmin was angry at, it was Han.
