Kaveh returned to his desk with the vision, he was surprised that Alhaitham had even lent the vision to him. To be fair Alhaitham didn't exactly see it as a valuable item, at least to himself. Kaveh knew he lied to him, his intentions were for research. But it was slightly more than just studying. Kaveh scattered himself all over the Akademiya to snatch chemical-based supplies, following those objects to assist him in his subjection.
He burned his unhealthy ambition through the tests he placed the vision through, most potion-based products or physical damages and exploitations. The reactions the vision had to this abuse were small explosions of magic as if it were attempting to protect itself, Kaveh did so without fear.
But rather naive curiosity, he was unsure of what time it was. But it most definitely wasn't twelve, not even close. But Alhaitham raged into Kaveh's dorm, his eyes a burning red. Veins popped around the sides of his head as he approached Kaveh shouting furiously.
"Stop your antics Kaveh! Stop playing with my vision!"
He roared, Kaveh had never witnessed him being so reckless. Being thrown off of his focus Kaveh already became irritated as soon as his door opened. He stole the vision, taking it into his hands he verbally fought him.
"I'm not finished, secondly I am not playing with your vision. I'm simply testing its possibilities, unlike you who let it hang off your cloak like some trophy for display!"
Alhaitham threw his hand to snatch it back, but Kaveh dodged out of the way. He chased him around the room. Their boots stomped against the creaking wood, and by the minute Alhaitham was becoming more and more confused. His body accidentally ran into walls, bumping against chairs and bookshelves. His head spun angrily with so much burning pain he almost couldn't speak coherently.
"Give it to me now, I'm not warning you again!"
At that moment, he made a huge mistake. Kaveh attempted to dodge back, but Alhaitham gripped his arms. The two struggled at a stand as Kaveh buried the vision in his chest protectively. Alhaitham threw Kaveh to the ground and pinned him, reaching to pull the vision away. His eyes were a burning red of pain and confusion as he tugged, the dark lighting of the room made his expression all the more terrifying. But Kaveh continued to struggle with him.
Alhaitham became so enraged by the situation that he struck his fist down into Kaveh's face. The two appeared to pause at the same time as blood ran out from his nose and down his lip. His breathing became heavy as he dropped the vision and struck Alhaitham back in the face.
The two at this point had completely forgotten their original goals and began to strike against one another. Kaveh threw his bare fist so hard at Alhaitham that it drew blood from the corner of his head, dark liquid dripping over their beautiful white robes."You promised me it was for research!"
Alhaitham shouted as he struck against Kaveh's obstructed arms, he barely managed to yell back a furious response as blood stained his teeth.
"It was for research! I was testing what a visions magic was capable of!"
Kaveh managed to gain the upper hand, he pushed Alhaitham off of himself. He stood to his feet and kneed Alhaitham in the side of the head, he groaned painfully in response, nearly falling over. When Kaveh knew he did enough damage he raced for the door, he felt a strong hand wrap around his ankle, with a rough pull he was set back an extra foot falling into the ground with a thunk.
"Let go of me now!"
Kaveh turned his head back to direct his voice to Alahiatham further, who didn't appear to be stopped at all by it. Blood streaked down the side of his face, dripping off his chin and onto Kaveh's clothes.
