Kouyou's Pov

Everyday i see her, her beautiful hair and her butterfly hair piece eyes that i could get lost in for hours on end but i must not stare at her for too long what if she thinks im creepy. I look up from the counter as my eyes meets hers she smiles to which i cant help but smile back it was a quick shared glance at each other before she looked down at her papers again. We barely shared any words to each other but hello's and during orders

I would love to talk to her but when i finally have time she gets ready to leave. "What will it be today miss?" I pulled out my notebook getting ready to write her order "A black coffee with honey and a teaspoon of sugar" "So the usual i couldve guessed" she laughed god everything about her was perfect that was the first time i had heard her laugh and i want to hear it again "Well it'll be right there" I went to the back where Chuuya was standing having a phone call so i decided not to annoy him and just started making the coffee for her until he poked my shoulder.

"Kouyou?" I hummed as a response "That woman that keeps entering you never let anyone else take her order is there a reason for that?" I finished up her coffee "I think about her alot its weird i dont even know her name yet it feels like i've known her my whole life, but i shouldnt bother you with this chuuya, you have your own stuff to think about" i patted his head before leaving.

"Wait m- Kouyou" i smiled to myself he almost called me mom adorable "Yes what is it?" he was clearly embarrased from what had just Acoured "You should go for it she likes you or else she wouldnt come here everyday" chuuya is perhaps right i wouldnt know before i tried "Perhaps i should you wouldn-" before i could even finish he interupted "I dont care, if you're happy then why would it affect me" he was right i knew that deep down I approached her table leaving the coffee on the table with a mate underneath it "Enjoy your coffee" "I will" she smiled.

~time skip~

I flipped the sign on the door to closed as i started cleaning the shop i put up the chairs, cleaned the tables and then made it all ready for tomorrow when Chuuya approached me "Oh i thought you had gone home by now dont you have a key?" He nodded "Well you see i was just wondering if you actually did it you know?" he pointed to his phone and i smiled "I wrote my number on a piece of paper along with her coffee but there hasnt been anything for now" "Maybe she has work you wouldnt know only if you were some creepy stalker with her schedule memorised" as if it was perfect chuuyas phone rang "Talking about stalker, I'll see you at home" he picked up the phone and accepted the call and the waves goodbye to me "Yeah see you Chu!" When he had just left a message ticked into my phone

[Unknown number]: Hi its me from the café i saw the paper you left with my coffee sorry i first texted now i had to go to work right after i left but here i am hope you didnt worry too much. My name is Yosano Akiko so you can stop calling me that girl or whatever you're calling me i wouldnt know. Hope to see you tomorrow goodbye

After reading the text i started smiling she actually texted me i had thought she wouldnt or that she had just thrown out the paper. I added the contact to my contacts lists

[Kouyou] Hello, its great hearing from you Yosano i'm Kouyou Ozaki, i was honestly a bit unsure about leaving a note with with phone number to you but Chuuya convinced me so here we are.

[Kouyou] Well i do have a question for you aswell, would you like to join me for dinner sometime?

[Yosano] Are you asking me on a date?(⁠･⁠o⁠･⁠;⁠)

[Kouyou] If you want it to be

[Yosano] well then lets say Friday at 6pm if it matches with your schedule?

[Kouyou] Sounds great i can come and pick you up

[Yosano] Sounds amazing i cant wait to see what you plan(⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠)

Did i just ask her on a date oh geez i have no idea how to do stuff like this i guess i have to ask chuuya for help. I grabbed my bag before leaving and locking the café.

~Friday~

"Geez it'll all go well Kouyou dont worry just enjoy the date and act like yourself it'll go fine" Chuuya was pretty much pushing me out the door "You're right Chuuya i should stop worrying and just enjoy it, bye sweetie" i left and walked down to my car and started driving to Yosanos place.

As i pulled into her driveway i could see her in the window talking to someone i decided to not make any questions about it and just got out of the car and knocked on her door

Yosanos pov

"Ranpo theres a pizza in the fridge just ready to heat up and theres snacks in the fridge if you want anything else" Taking care of Ranpo is like taking care of a child sometimes it can be annoying but it can also be pretty funny and nice at times "But how does the oven work?" "you did not just urgh listen I'll just write it on a note what you have to do okay and if you cant understand it just order one" just after i had finished the note i heard a knock on the door "Well thats my ride, I'll see you later Ranpo" i walked towards the door and opened it.

"Are you ready to go" she smiled at me to which i smiled back at her "Yes ofcourse, lets go" she lead me to her car and opened the door for me "Oh how kind" i sat down in the passenger seat as she closed the door and went in the drivers seat.

The ride to the resurant wasnt very long but it was nice. When we went inside we were led to our table and handed a menu card each "It's all actually not too expensive as i've thought by the looks of the resturant" Kouyou looked at me and smiled "Surprising right, i usually bring Chuuya here whenever we go out to eat" "Chuuya?" "Right hes my adopted son" he must be the boy she talks to in the back of the café

~Time skip~

We left the café where we both payed our fair share for the meal we ate as when we were on our way here she followed me to her car and opened the door for me and sat besides me. The car ride was a bit more enjoyable this time due to the fact we had stuff to talk about which was our jobs and her adoptive son.

When we got to my house she followed me to the door and hugged me goodbye after the hug broke she started walking towards her car but i stopped her and kissed her on her cheek "I Hope we can go on a date again soon" She smiled and so did i "Yeah lets find out something soon"
