Breo's POV
I open my eyes slowly, allowing my vision to focus as much at it can before looking around the room slowly. The last thing I remember was seeing a doctor trying to fix my leg, but I was too delirious to understand what was going on.
Lifting my head up slowly and look down to see a very large gauze covering my upper thigh. It definitely hurts less than before but I also feel very sleepy, it must be the medicine from earlier.
"J?" I call out, remembering he was in the room with me before I went to sleep. I hold Pooh in my right hand, noticing the wrist support that is now wrapped around my lower forearm and hand.
A man stands up from the couch in front of the bed and I wait for him to walk towards me. Is it J? Without my glasses I can't tell who it is.
As he gets closer I realise it's not J. This guy is younger, he has brown long hair stretching down to his chest, and a more slender physique. I try to push myself further into bed to get away from him but I don't have enough energy to. I know he must be a friend of J but new people scare me.
"Hey." He says, waving at me before bringing his phone out of his pocket. "You're Breo right?"
I nod and watch as he types something into his phone, before placing it at the foot of the bed.
"I'm Pedro." He says with a smile, his smile was so big it was almost a grin, he seems very friendly. His voice is very friendly too, less scary and deep like some of the other ones I've heard here.
"J?" I question, still wanting to know where he is. He is the only person I know here, other than Pooh bear.
"Oh yeah he should be here soon." He smiles at me again, adjusting the front of the black T shirt he's wearing so it sits over his belt. I attempt to reach for my glasses as he does so.
"Let me help." He says while walking to the bed side table, handing me the glasses I struggled to reach.
"T-Thank you." I smile at him shyly while putting big clear frames on, still feeling very exhausted.
"Do you need anything? J said if you need anything you can tell me and I'll get it for you." He picks his phone up from the bed and holds it in his hand. "Well, I'll get someone to get it for you."
I look at him and think to myself for a second. Anything? That's really nice of him and J to do, but I can't accept the offer. Who knows how much he had to pay for the doctor to help me. I've accepted too much from him.
Realising Pedro is still standing in front of me I shake my head. "No thank you."
"Cool." He says, smiling again before returning to the couch behind him.
A sharp pain shoots through my head and I gently cradle my swollen eye, deciding to rest a little more before J comes back.
Laying back down I look towards the window to the right of me, the curtains are somewhat drawn but far apart enough to see that it's night time already, I must've been asleep all day.
Realising how late it is I remember that I'm supposed to leave today and I haven't gone yet. My heart begins to race once I realised I have broken the agreement I've made with J. He has been so nice to me and I have taken him for granted.
My eyes fill with tears and I hastily wipe them away, still holding on to pooh bear but turning him away from the bed so he doesn't see me cry. Trying suppress my sniffles I take some deep breaths, until I'm interrupted by a knock at the door.
Pedro stands up immediately and opens it, it's J. He must've come from outside because he has a jacket on. The man he spoke to in the hallway when J first brought me here is behind him too.
