Information:

You have a massive crush on Hannibal and you have hid this secret for awhile now. But you being the open book you are you don't have a problem it to anyone. At least to everyone but the man himself. Unfortunately Hannibal walks in at the wrong time.

Y/N stood there watching her friends do there work. Was she suppose to be? Nope but Jack had a soft spot for her. No one knew why but everyone enjoyed her company. She made their work just a bit easier.

"Hey guys do you know if Hannibal is single?" Y/N suddenly asked as she licked her sucker.

Brian and Jimmy immediately looked up in surprise but Beverly just chuckled softly. Y/N pouted and glared slightly.

"What? I just wanna know! I'm not gonna try anything if he's seeing someone"

"Uh I don't think he is..I don't see a ring on his finger and I've never heard of him mentioning any girlfriend or anyone" Jimmy shrugged.

"Wait Y/N he's old enough to be your dad! Like..he's at least in his 40s. Maybe even 50s!" Brian exclaimed.

Y/N looked at him for second and then laughed. She was laughing so hard she almost fell over. Beverly joined in the laughing and left Brian confused.

"No shit Brian I know that! That's like why he's so hot!" Y/N giggled wiping her tears from her eyes.

"Brian didn't you know Y/N likes older men? Did you forget her last boyfriend was almost 50?" Beverly chuckled also wiping her tears away.

Brian took a moment to think and then embarrassingly covered his face. He did forget that. He forgot that Y/N does like older men. She's made that obvious several times before this moment too.

"Oh don't worry Brian I know it's hard. Now you'll never get a chance with her. Unless you aged yourself like 20 years" Jimmy laughed slightly.

Brian's blushed deepen "shut the hell up Jimmy"

Y/N only giggled at the two. She won't lie Brian was cute as hell but he wasn't her type. Not because he was a lab nerd only because of his age.

"So are you gonna ask out Hannibal?" Beverly suddenly asked.

She blushed softly and shrugged her shoulders "eh I don't know..to me Hannibal doesn't seem like the type who likes younger women. And I like the friendship I have with him"

"As a guy I can bet you money that Hannibal isn't gonna care. What older guy wouldn't love to have a younger women like him?" Brian patted her head.

"Yeah he's right. Any guy who does is stupid if they don't give you a chance also! No matter what their age is..you're such a catch Y/N" Jimmy patted her head just like Brian did.

She sighed softly and shrugged her shoulders "yeah but Hannibal is different..I mean not only are we different in age but we are different in other ways! Like he's so much more sophisticated then me..I don't know the first thing about operas or even plays! And the fact that I'm much younger..I'm surprised he's even my friend"

As Y/N vented to her friends Hannibal and Will walked into the FBI. They didn't speak the whole car ride but when they walked in Will broke the silence.

"What do you think about Y/N"

Hannibal was a little surprised at the question but answered anyway "well I think she's a very open person. She's very nice and caring. She doesn't seem to care what others think of her"

"Let me ask a different way. How do you feel about her?" Will glanced at him as they walked.

Hannibal only smiled slightly "I feel that she is a very good friend of mine. I care about her"

Will left it at that. He got his answer and he wasn't sure how to feel about it. He knew Y/N liked Hannibal but he still wasn't sure if he felt the same. He didn't want Y/N to get heartbroken if she were to ask Hannibal out.

As the two of them walked into the lab they heard a voice they both knew well.

"Ok ok fine I'll ask out Hannibal! But I'm going to say I told you so if he doesn't agree!"

Brian saw both Will and Hannibal standing behind Y/N. He quickly pointed a finger behind her. Y/Ns eyes went wide and she whipped around and saw not just Will but Hannibal there.

"Oh..um..uh hi Will..Hannibal.." her face was redder then blood. She was very embarrassed.

Even though Hannibal was surprised by the statement she made he didn't act like it. He instead walked closer to her and smiled softly at her.

"You know I just bought some rabbit and it would be a shame to not share it with someone. Would you like to join me for dinner tonight?"

Y/Ns jaw dropped for a few seconds then she quickly pulled herself together and nodded.

"Yes! Y-Yes that sounds great..thank you for inviting me Hannibal.." her face was even redder then before.

Unfortunately this wholesome moment was short lived as Jack walked into the lab. And he was not happy.

"I hate to ruin the moment but we have another body. Y/N wait in my office. Everyone else follow me"

As everyone else followed Jack, Y/N turned to Hannibal and smiled "I can't wait for tonight! You better hurry thought I rather not have Jack mad at you"

Hannibal slightly smirked "he can wait" he gave a softly kiss on her forehead "now I can go"

Y/N stood there for a second in surprise then once again blushed.

"That man knows how hot he is I swear.." she mumbled and quickly walked to Jacks office.
