CHAPTER 1 - High School exterior
A 28 year old woman climbs out of a car, and looks up at the imposing structure of the school. Students hurry up alongside her, as they make their way to the entrance of the school.
The woman, Diana Wong, is broken out of her thoughts by the sound of the school bell ringing, signalling the beginning of the day. She is late. She hurries up the steps of the school, before rushing back to the car from its parking spot and retrieves her bags.
CHAPTER 2 - Classroom
Students are misbehaving in the classroom for there is no adult to discipline them. Boys are throwing things around at each other, while the girls are busily checking their phones. Other students are taking selfies, playing games, etc.
An almost 18-year old male student, Tyson Kang, is sitting at the back of the class, by the window. Obviously the school stud, the girls are trying their best to gain his attention. He is having none of it, as he continues looking out of the window.
He spots Diana, running up the steps. His attention is interrupted by the presence of Coco Lee, the belle of the school, who stands in front of his table.
"So my parents are going away for the weekend," Coco says slyly, her fingers twirling her long, wavy hair. Tyson ignores her.
She leans over his table, giving him an ample view of her cleavage.
"I'm throwing a party at my place and maybe..... we can have a party of our own, in my room," she suggests, coyly. No one ever says no to Coco.
He ignores her and proceeds to place his wireless headphones over his ear, while continuing to look out the window.
CHAPTER 3 - School Hallway & Classroom
Diana follows an older male, Mr Toh, theprincipal of the school, as they walk down the hallways of the school and stopin front one of the classroom doors. Mr Toh turns to Diana. "Are you ready?" he asks.
Diana nods, "It's now or never".
Mr Toh opens the door and enters the classroom.The once noisy classroom descends into silence at the sight of Mr Toh. Just outside the classroom, Diana steels herself before walking in behind Mr Toh.
"Alright have a seat everyone. You will be getting your new form teacher today. Class, I'd like to introduce you to Miss Diana Wong," Mr. Toh announces, clapping his hands.
"It's Mrs, not Miss," Diana whispers to Mr Toh.
"Apologies, its Mrs Diana Wong. My mistake. Well Mrs Wong, they are all yours," Mr Toh announces, and exits the classroom, but not before whispering to her, "Good luck".
It takes a moment, before the class erupts back into chaos, as the students ignore their new teacher. Diana places her bag on the table and clears her throat, hoping to gain their attention. Nothing happens.
"Quiet down, please," she pleads. Nothing happens. Tyson is amused, as he watches the antic of the new teacher.
Diana looks around the room, before her gazebriefly lands on Tyson and his smirking face. This bolsters her courage, as shewalks to the front of the class and lets out a loud whistle. The class descends into shocked silence.
"Students, please return to your seats," she instructs immediately, which the students do so. Once they have settled down, she announces that it is time to begin class.
