CHAPTER 20 - Diana's Apartment (Next Morning)
Sounds of kids are playing outside, the noise waking Diana up. She is completely hungover, her hair and face, unwashed from the night before. She slowly gets up, her head pounding, as she rushes to her bathroom to throw up. After cleaning herself off, she makes her way to her tiny kitchen, where she sees a cup of water and a pill on the dining table. She doesn't hesitate and pops the pill into her mouth and gulps down the water.
From a distance, she hears her mobile ringing. She is unsure where she placed it and goes in search of her phone. She manages to find it, in her bag, inside her fridge. She quickly removes her bag from the fridge, digging inside her bag for her phone. She manages to answer her phone before the caller hangs up.
In a raspy voice, she answers, "Hel...." She tries to clear her throat. "Hello?"
It is Carly on the other line. She attempts to place her bag on the dining table, but it falls off, spilling the contents.
Carly, sounding far chipper than Diana is feeling at the moment asks, "Girl, how are you holding up?"
Diana falls onto the nearest seat, her head held in her phone-less hand. "I feel like my head is about to explode. What happened last night?"
"OMG! You don't remember? You were epic!!!"

Flashback - In a bar the previous night
Several different scenarios of Diana at the bar with her fellow teachers.
- Diana drinking shots of a male's exposed belly - Diana climbing on tables
- Diana dancing wildly on the dance floor, her moves leaving less to be desired
- Diana stumbling out of the club and vomiting on the side of the street

Diana shakes her head at the memories, for sure it as not real. "Sorry, I don't remember a thing," she half lies.
Carly laughs on the other end of the line. "Maybe it's better if you don't remember at all."
As Diana is placing the contents back into her bag, she notices the envelope. She opens it to find a letter, addressed in her name.
Carly is chatting away on the other end of the line, but Diana is not paying as much attention as she skims through the letter content, "Hey, Carly, I'm going to call you back." Diana abruptly hangs up the phone, her attention already captured by the letter.
The contents of the letter mentions that Diana had won an all expenses paid trip to Brno, in Czech Republic. All she has to do was pack her clothes and her passport. And she is to leave that very day.
Diana thinks this is a scam, but she decides to call the number left on the letter anyway.
A distinctive female voice, Meredith, answers on the other end. "Good morning, Travel Wishes. Meredith speaking. How may I assist you?"
"Hi, this is Diana Wong, I mean, Yeo. I received a letter from your company saying something about me having won a trip?" Diana enquires.
"Diana Yeo," Meredith exclaims, "yes, our contest winner. You entered the 'Ultimate Travel Wishes' grand contest. Did you say you just received this?"
"Well, I saw the letter and I just got around to opening it."
"Oh dear, you better hurry then. I believe a driver will be there to pick you up in about an hours time. Enjoy your holiday." Meredith excitedly says.
