Chapter 4

Mandy walked up to me and threw a book at me. I picked it up and looked at it. The book was white with kawaii kittens on it. 'Diary' was written across the top. I panicked at the sight of it.

"Slutty looking, huh?" Mandy yelled, grabbing the attention of nearby students.

I noticed Jimmy and motioned him to come over to me. Jimmy ran over to me and stood by my side, looking at Mandy.

"What are you doing to Connor?" Jimmy asked, coming close to Mandy.

Mandy snickered, "Connor? That's her name? What did she do, get a sex change?"

I looked at her, my eyes beginning to water. Jimmy noticed me and put his hand over my shoulder.

"Well I can tell why she called you slutty but now I'm surprised she didn't call you a bitch!" said Jimmy.

Mandy gasped by what Jimmy said and she walked up to me and him and pushed Jimmy aside, "Okay, little girl. You ever, and I say EVER, try to mess with me again...You'll get it."

I frowned and then thought about things I had never did to Mandy. Then I let it all out. I raised my fist and with one punch, Mandy was out of it. On the ground crying for her 'backup'. Her cheerleader friends came up to me and began throwing punches, but they didn't even hit me once. I punched them all out of my way and walked off. Jimmy caught up to me, almost running because I was walking so fast. He grabbed my shoulder. I turned around and stared at him. 

"Hey, are you ok?" He asked.

I stood there for a while then I let out my emotions. I cried for minutes, my face buried in his shoulder. He held me, and told me everything was going to be okay. I didn't listen. I knew I was going to leave Bullworth but i didn't have the guts to tell him. I was weak. 

"I'm leaving Bullworth before Spring Break..." I told him, sounding as serious as possible.

Jimmy became shocked, "W-why?! You can't leave.." 

Tears streamed down my face, "I don't have a choice. My dad is making me. I don't want to leave. I can't....I just want to stay with you and Pete...I actually have friends here. It's amazing..." I trailed off.

Jimmy stared at me and grabbed my shoulders, "You need to know that I will be with you until you leave. I'll never abandon you...because I love you.."

I smiled, "I love you too, Jimmy..." I paused because he kissed me.

"Oh and by the way Connor, nice job beating those preps up. You are very good at fighting. That proves that you really are a rebel." 

I giggled, "I told you that I was a rebel."

He laughed, "Whatever. So," he said looking at his watch, "It's 3:45, classes are over and tomorrow is Saturday. What do you want to do?"

I looked at him and cocked my head, unsure of what to do. "Hm. I dunno, we can play basketball or something. I'm actually quite good at sports."

Jimmy smirked, "So you are a rebel and athletic? You really are the girl for me."

I blushed. I guess me and Jimmy were meant to be. We walked to the gym and went into the locker room. I borrowed a pair of basketball shorts from Jimmy and we got changed. I took off my vest, revealing my white long sleeve shirt. I rolled up the sleeves and took off my beanie. We ran out to the court and grabbed a basketball. I got the first shot and made a swish. Jimmy looked at me and clapped.

"Wow. Even I can't do that," Jimmy said, grabbing the ball out of my hands, "Now watch the master."

Jimmy turned around facing away from the basketball net, throwing the basketball behind him. It hit the backboard, almost making it in the hoop. I still clapped. I had to say that was impressive considering he was turned around.

"Nice, you almost made it," I said running over to hug him.

we played a couple more games of basketball and then it became 5:30. I yawned and he looked over at me doing the same.

"I'm gonna go get some stuff from the vending machine, what do you want," I asked Jimmy. 

"Nothing really, just a soda will be fine. Thanks," said Jimmy sitting on one of the benches by the court.

I ran over to the vending machine and took out a ten dollar bill. I grabbed chips and two soda and slowly walked back to the court. I looked over and saw Mandy kissing Jimmy. I dropped the stuff I had in my hands and ran off, hearing the yells coming from Jimmy behind me. I ran faster to the girls dorm. I ran inside and went to my room, my face becoming red and wet from tears. I couldn't believe he would do something like that. it was so typical. Men were always cheating.. just like how my dad cheated on my mom. Jimmy was just like him. Mandy would pay. And I meant that with all my heart. I was going to kill that bitch.
