Today is Valentine's day. Unfortunately, i don't have the courage to send my crush a flower or something.

-Ugh! I swear Y/N! If you don't invite her for a date- i'll kill you. And i'm serious! -says Enid.

We are both on the library. I am doing homework, and Enid...well, she is just being annoying...

-I already told you a million times! Wednesday doens't like me! She doens't like anybody in that way! Wednesday is not the type of girl who goes on dates!

-Who knows! Maybe she can accept going on a date with you, only you. At least, ask her Y/N!

-Enid. Please, i told you, it's not gonna work, ok! Now, please let me be, i need to finish my homework. -you say paying attention on your papers.

-Ok, fine! But now you will never know if she would accept it or not!

-Yes, whatever. I know she wouldn't.

Enid finally leaves me alone. Can you hear this? It's called peace.

Wednesday pov

I am sitting on my desk, writing my novel, when i hear the usual annoying steps from my roommate.

She can't stop walking around in little circles.

I hear her sighing over and over, so i stop writing.

-What's up Enid? Did Ajax rejected your letter?

-What? No! Actually, we are going out on a date tonight and...i think.. you know, maybe..just maybe, you should do the same! I mean, why not Wednesday?

-First, i refuse to participate on this endless-growth commerce culture that only makes the lovers feel good and the lonely miserable, which is actually a lie for me, because i'm good by myself, and that's how it's gonna be for the rest of my life. Second, i am happy that you are going to participate on this thing that you all call "Valentine's day", so i finally get the peace i need to write my novel. Thank you for that, Enid.

-Yes but...what if someone invited you for a date?

-I don't know what you have on your mind Enid, but my answer is no.

-At least you should try just one date! You might like it, maybe you can even fall in love!

-No, Enid. I don't want to go on a date with anybody. Now, i hope you have a good night with Ajax. -i say going back to my writing.

I don't know why people wast time on something so cheesy and useless.
