Gracie's pov

I was the first one to wake up today and since it's valentine's day, I'll wake up Y/N with her favourite breakfast and...u'll see!!

I sit near her on the edge of the bed while holding the tray with her favourite morning food.

But before I wake her up, I put her favourite song playing on my phone, it's called "The Blue" and I'm the one who wrote it! It's the first song I ever wrote about us. And she loves it, obviously.

As soon as the music starts playing she starts to wake up.

"Good morning beautiful" I whisper gently at her.

"W-what? Oh good morning." She starts to realize what is happening while she rubs her cute y/e/c eyes. "Oh my god pancakesss!!" She sits on the bed straight smiling ear to ear as she realizes the little surprise I made her. 

"Oh Is this Heaven? I mean...waking up with your voice and my favourite milkshake and pancakes! You're the best! I'm so luckyyy!!" She hugs me after putting the tray by her side carefully.

"Im glad you're happy, y/n/n" I kiss her lips and sit by her side taking a pancake.

"God- this is delicious, Grace!"

"I know. I mean your dating a chef!"

"Lucky me." She takes another bite and after that she gets my nose dirty with her finger.

I make a dramatic face getting her face all dirty too.

"Ok ok fair!" She pretends to drink her milkshake peacefully before getting my face all dirty too. "Now we're given." She yells laughing out loud with me.

"You were the one who started!"

"I know." She says kissing me sweetly, before Weenie, my dog, wakes up and jumps on bed to join us on this cute little mess. "Weeniee!" Y/N holds him while he kisses and cleans her whole dirty face.

"God you two are the sweetest together."  I laugh with Y/N.

Time skips and Y/N wants to take me out to a special place. I have no idea where she wants to go but well here we are driving on our car.

Y/N's pov

I'm taking Gracie to a dog's shelter since we talked about having another doggy to play with Weenie. And Gracie has been talking about that for ages so I thought...why not today?

Finally we arrive and she sees the
big store sign:

"Love Pets? Get One!
You Won't Regret!"

"Omg- Y/N!! I Can't believe it! I-I mean...Are we here to do what I think?" She asks me excited.

"Uh- DUH! Don't you know how to read, dear?"

She rolls her eyes and I put my left arm around her as we walk in.

The Young Woman that was on the balcony was very kind to us and shows us the Dog section.
But in the middle of the little trip she started to get kinda nervous. I think I know why and It seems that I was right.
