📍: Cheryl's apartment building, Tribeca Manhattan, NYToni picks at the rose petal between her fingers nervously as the sun sets faintly behind her causing a golden hue to kiss her bronze skin.
It's the sight Cheryl sees the moment she steps foot outside of the apartment complex. Toni's jaw flexes as she chews anxiously on her plump lip and her hazel eyes trail up to meet green ones and the redhead nearly melts at the view of the sun's glare reflecting in the athlete's eyes.
Toni is just so goddamn fine.
"Hey, you." she manages to find her voice.
"Hey." the brunette opens her arms for a hug, which the model doesn't hesitate to accept. She shuts her eyes while she marvels at the warmth of the latter.
"I got this for you," Toni whispers when she pulls away. "It's simple but it's–"
"I love it, TT. It's beautiful." Cheryl takes the rose up to her nose to smell it, her eyes settling on Toni's once more. "Just like you," she interjects, winking.
She smirks at her accomplishment of the pink tint that begins to paint the woman's cheeks. "Shut up." Toni giggles, despite herself. "Let's get going. We don't want to miss the showing."
"The theater always has like twenty-five minutes worth of previews. I say we have a lot of time." Cheryl chuckles nonetheless, getting into the Rolls-Royce when Toni opens the door for her.
"It took us a whole week to plan this date, I'd say time is very precious." the basketball star teases while softly shutting the door.
With her company's upcoming magazine launch, Cheryl has been cooped up in the office all week, working non-stop to make sure everything is perfect. Toni understood, which the ginger woman was very thankful for. Finally, after a busy week, Cheryl felt it was time to take a break so she reached out to the brunette and together, the two beauties planned a movie/bowling date.
After bowling, they will head back to Cheryl's apartment for dinner.
Cheryl is so excited to finally be able to see her again. Especially after the hectic week she just experienced. But most of all, she's finding herself missing Toni a lot lately. And vice versa.
Toni reaches over to turn down the radio as she stops at a red light. The redhead looks over at her with a small smile, her porcelain hand reaching out for hers. The athlete offers a gentle squeeze before speaking up. "You look so good tonight." she compliments, taking a moment to examine the model's attire for the night.
A simple black fitted dress accompanied by the same red leather jacket Toni nearly fell over at the sight of on the night of Betty's party. Her ginger mane is styled in feathered curls and her makeup is light, never too much. Toni loves that most about Cheryl.
The woman doesn't like to be caked up with foundation like all those other models do.
"Thank you, baby." murmurs the redhead. Her thumb begins to gently caress the back of Toni's hand when the car moves to accelerate down the street. "You look amazing as well."
The athlete chuckles and spares a quick glance at her. But Cheryl is extremely serious. The woman is looking a bit too fine tonight. She's not sure if will be able to keep her eyes off of her.
The basketball star is sporting black ripped jeans pants with a light-colored shirt, also accompanied by a jacket with her last name and jersey number on the back. The diamond stud in her nose stands out prominently on her face but the ginger's green eyes remain fixated on glowing hazel orbs.
