Later that day, after Emilie was brought back to life by the power of the Chaos Miraculouses, Gabriel, Emilie, Marinette, Adrien, Chloe and Zoe are at the Le Grand Paris luxury hotel, and are currently in front of the desk where Chloe and Zoe's father, André Bourgeois (the mayor of Paris), and they are discussing on what to do for Gabriel to redeem himself, if it's possible, that is. Then, André tells Gabriel that he will give him a second chance, however, if he controlls his son again, he will lose his responsibility to raise his son, to which Gabriel understands. This means, Gabriel is officially forgiven of his actions over his son. After that, Gabriel and Emilie leaves the office and the hotel. After that, Chloe guesses that even if they don't deserve it, everyone deserves a second chance, to which her father and Zoe agree.
(at the main office in the Le Grang Paris hotel, Gabriel, Emilie, Marinette, Adrien, Zoe and Chloe are talking with their father, who is also the mayor of Paris, André Bourgeois)
André Bourgeois: *after hearing everything about what Gabriel has done* Well, based on what I've heard from your explanation, I must say that you have not been a good parent for your son, Mr. Agreste, and besides, forcing an arranged relationship is illegal in France, and it would've cost you spending your life in prison. Howver, since you did reconcile with your wife and Adrien, by the power vested in me, I am giving you a second chance so that you can redeem yourself of your actions over your own son.
Gabriel: *relieved* Oh, thank you, Mr. Mayor.
André: Yes. However, there will be a warning: The next time you are caught controling your son's life, you will lose your responsibility of raising your son, and be put in jail. Do I make myself clear, Mr. Agreste?
Gabriel: Crystal clear.
André: Excelent! You may now leave.
(with that, Marinette, Adrien, Gabriel and Emilie leave the office)
Chloe: *to André* Well, Daddy, I'm glad that you decided to give Mr. Agreste a second chance.
André: Yes, Chloe, however, I'm sure you also heard my warning for him.
Chloe: Yes, I did. But just like how Ladybug and Cat Noir forgave me, I guess everyone deserves a second chance, even if they don't deserve it.
Zoe: I guess so, Chloe.
André: You're quite right, Chloe.
-outside the hotel-
Ouside the hotel, Gabriel is both glad and relieved that he's gotten his second chance. Then, seeing how late it's starting to get, Marinette decides to head back to her home, but before she can do so, she and Adrien share a kiss on the lips, and Gabriel saw how much Adrien really does love her. Then after the kiss breaks, Marinette walks back to her house, while Adrien walks with his family back to their mansion.
Gabriel: *still relieved* I'm still glad that I've gotten my second chance.
Emilie: Same here, Gabriel. However, you do have to keep the Mayor's warning in mind.
Gabriel: I understand that, Emilie.
Marinette: Yeah. However, it is starting to get late. I'm going to head back home right now. Besides, Adrien and I have school tomorrow.
Adrien: Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow, my princess.
Marinette: Same to you, my prince.
Marinette and Adrien: *lean towards each other, then they close their eyes as their lips meet for a kiss*
Gabriel: *seeing this; in thought* Wow, Adrien really does love Marinette. I can't believe that I'm seeing my son experience true love right in front of me and my wife. If only I saw this in the first place.
