Aonung's POV: 

I stood there, shocked. I had no idea what to say next.

I slowly looked over to Neteyam. He looked as if he was about to run away.

His ears dropped, his breathing quickly becoming more and more unsteady.

"FUCK!" Lo'ak shouted out, looking up at Neteyam.

Neteyam coward underneath his gaze.

"Lo'ak..." Neteyam quietly said, looking down

"God damn it Neteyam" Lo'ak said, scratching his head and looking at me.

I stared back hard, not breaking eye contact.

"You two really can't get enough of each other? Huh?" He asked, crossing his arms.

"You two can't be together" He said, looking away.

"And why not? Huh forest boy?" I said, feeling myself fill with rage

"Because your the chief son!" He said, pushing me back.

"And I won't let you make promises to my brother you can't fulfill" 

"What are you talking about?" Neteyam asked, confused

"This fucking idiot has to marry a girl from the Pantoran clan. I overheard his father talking about it last night" Lo'ak said, rolling his eyes.

I stood still, thinking about what he had just said

"So I'm not letting you make my brother his side hoe" He said, his eye's narrowing.

Neteyam's POV:

Once I heard that, it was like a huge weight was lifted off my chest.

"Wait, so you're not disgusted? I asked, looking up at Lo'ak

"Disgusted?" He asked, holding back his laughter

"Why would I be disgusted?" He asked, looking at me and Aonung

"If anything, I'm just angry I lost a bet against Roxto

"Wait, you bet on us?" Aonung asked, staring at Lo'ak

"Yeah, but technically no one's won yet" He said, thinking hard

"What do you mean 'won?'" I asked

"Well, Roxto bet that youif you two got together, you would sleep together in the first month of being together. I bet that you two would keep it slow"

I looked at Aonung who looked back

We both burst out laughing with Lo'ak confused.

"What's so funny?" He asked, genuinely confused.

"Yeah, Roxto won" I replied, still laughing

Lo'ak took a couple seconds to think about it before scrunching up his nose and looking at us

"Fuck! Gross!" He said, pushing the both of us over

"Don't tell me about that shit" He said, covering his face with his hands.

Short chapter for you guys today. Might post some more later on but for now we'll just leave it at that :)
