Chapter 3

-(y/n)'s pov-

I quietly made my way to the infirmary, along with Lucy, carrying some food Mira had made for Maka. I pushed the door open, to reveal Maka reading a book from our extensive library. "Hello. I am (y/n), and this is Lucy." I smiled. Maka jumped slightly, startled. "O-oh. Hey. Didn't hear you come in. I'm Maka" She explained, marking her page and setting the book down on the end table next to her. I handed her the food, before hearing a soft groaning noise behind me. I looked for the source of the noise, seeing one of the boys waking up. This one had white hair and ruby red eyes.
He looked around, scratching his head. "What happened...? Where am I?" He asked, looking at Maka. "We're at Fairy Tail. And remember the 'project' Stein made us test out? Well, that failed and sent us here." Maka stated. He stared at her, trying to comprehend it.
"But..." I could almost see the gears in his brain grinding to a halt as he tried to figure it out. "...what are you eating?" Soul asked. Maka face palmed, muttering something about her partner being an idiot. "With all the stuff going on, that's what you ask?" Maka chastised.
"What about it?"
"Nothing, Soul." And back to muttering she went. I smiled and shook my head, enjoying the amusing show before me. "Well, Soul, I'm (y/n)."
"And I'm Lucy." Soul nodded, before getting up. "Where are the others?" He asked.
"They're passed out in other rooms. Maka told us who was partners with who and we gave them rooms according to that information. You two are, frankly, the only ones awake, as of now." I explained.
"Well how long have I been out?"
"A week."
"A WEEK!?!?"
"Yup. Here, I'll introduce you to some of the people here." I stated, pulling him to his feet. After doing so, I grasped his hand in my own and dragged him half way down the stairs, not seeing the massive figure in our path. CRASH!!! We slammed right into Laxus, sending all three of us hurtling down the rest of the stairs. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" Laxus growled. I got up, and with a quick "sorry", I scampered off with Soul, not wanting to piss the Lightning dragon slayer anymore than I already had.
"Who the hell was that?" Soul asked, slightly shaken up.
"That was Laxus Dreyar. He's the guild master's grandson, and will probably inherit the guild, sadly." I sighed. The idea of Laxus running Fairy Tail frankly scared me, and made me wonder what he'd do with the guild. I walked into the main hall, where everyone was gathered. Or, everyone who wasn't on a job. Sadly, I could hear a heated argument arising between Gray and Natsu.
"Just shut up, Ice Princess!!"
"Make me, Flame Brain!!"
"Oh it's on, Streaker!!"
"Bring it, Hot Head!!"
I watched as Natsu threw a punch at Gray, starting an all out brawl between the two, which soon swallowed the entire guild. I watched as Erza walked in, surveying the scene, before growling. "EVERYONE SHUT UP!!!" She screamed. Things soon started to die down, with the help of Erza screaming some more. I smirked, finding the scene highly amusing. Erza glanced over at me, finally noticing Soul. "I see another has woken up. I am Erza." Soul nodded a bit.
"Soul."
"It's a pleasure. Welcome to Fairy Tail." He nodded again, before sitting at the counter. I sat in between him and Cana, ordering a pop. (Yes I say pop and not soda. Deal with it.) Soul watched in slight awe as Cana downed an entire barrel of booze."I... Wha...?" Soul asked, perplexed. I sighed a bit, before introducing the two. "Soul, Cana, Cana, Soul."
"Nice to meet you."
"You to"
With all the introductions out of the way, Cana went back to drinking. I sipped at my pop, thinking over all that took place during the past week. First, our guests from the... What was it... DWMA? Landed here. Then Maka woke up, told us what happened, and now Soul has awakened. I sat forward, losing myself in my deep thoughts. Who would wake up next? Would it be one of the girls or one of the guys? Of of the weapons or one of the meisters...? I sighed, coming back to reality at the call of my name.
"(Y/n)! Another one just woke up!!"
