Chapter 4

-Tsubaki's pov-

I woke up, hearing shouts from below. I quietly pushed myself to my feet, looking for my partner. "Blackstar...?" I called out softly. Getting no reply, I made my way to the noise, finding the bluenette facing against four different people. One was a red head in armor, another was a pink haired boy wearing a vest and a scarf, there was also a tall, muscled man with blonde hair, spiky headphones and a lightning shaped scar across his eye, and finally, there was a ravenette with studs all along his body. "Blackstar!!" I cried out, making the blue haired idiot glance my way and grin cockily. "Hey Tsubaki! Come on, let's show these losers what we got-!" I shook my head, grabbing his ear and dragging him off. "Blackstar,you can't go around picking a fight with everyone you see. We need to figure out what's going on, and get some help. And we can't do that if you piss everyone off!" I chastised him. He looked at me, shocked by my short outburst. I sighed and walked over to the group that Blackstar was just about to fight. "I'm sorry for my partner's actions. I'm Tsubaki and that's my meister Blackstar." I stated politely, smiling slightly. "I'm Erza Scarlet." The red head introduced herself. "And this is Natsu Dragneel, Laxus Dreyar and Gajeel Redfox." She said, indicating each one. I waved a bit, a small smile on my lips. After diffusing tensions in the room, I decided to explore the place. Soon, I found myself in a common room of sorts, filled with people. "Hey! Another one woke up!" I heard a call. I looked for the source, seeing a large, tan man with white hair. "Hello. I'm Tsubaki..."
"Elfman."
"It's nice to meet you." He nodded and ruffled my hair before walking off. I sighed, when I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder. "Hello beautiful... It's nice to see such a fine girl like yourself here." I looked to the owner of the voice, seeing a teen in a suit with sunglasses and hair that resembled a lion's mane. "I'm Leo the Lion, but call me Loke. Your name, I believe, is Tsubaki?" I nodded, shying away from him slightly. "Well you are as beautiful as the flower that is your namesake, if not more." I blushed at his flattery of me, watching as he pulled me even closer. "You know, you and me should go on a date-" "LOKE!!!" I heard a girl yell. I watched as she stormed over. She was blonde, with a rather big chest, and was wearing a blue skirt and a shirt shirt with a blue cross. Loke smiled guiltily before vanishing into thin air. The blonde sighed, rubbing her temple. "I'm sorry for any trouble that flirty spirit of mine caused. I'm Lucy." She apologized.
"Tsubaki"
"Well, welcome to Fairy Tail, the strongest wizard guild in all of Fiore."
"It's an, uhm... Interesting, place..." She smiled, understanding the underline statement I had made. This place is crazy...
"Don't worry. I thought that too when I joined. I swear, there's not a sane person in this place, except for me." I heard someone call Lucy's name, making her sigh. "Well, I better go make rent. It was nice meeting you, Tsubaki."
"You to." She nodded before joining those Natsu and Erza characters from before, along with a flying cat and a guy in his boxers. I watched as they left, smiling to myself.
As odd as this place felt, it had a distinct feeling of home.
