After a good game of seven minutes in heaven, I went home smiling. Stretching, I started getting ready for bed. While changing into my (f/c) pajamas, I tensed, feeling a.... Disturbance. I warily finished dressing, and walked out of the bathroom. I inspected my house, trying to figure out what had set me off, but found nothing. I sighed, still not convinced I was in the clear, but headed to bed anyway. After all, who's to say I'm not just paranoid? Or it could be a suspiciously quiet Natsu, wanting to stay the night. It wouldn't have been the first time that happened... I sighed once more. No matter how hard I tried, I still couldn't calm my jumpy nerves. To give myself some level of defense besides my magic, I grabbed a metal bat. Feeling a bit more secure, I ran to my bedroom and dove under the covers, hoping not to get caught by anything. And even though I wasn't snatched up by a monster or something, I still couldn't sleep. I was way to scared to just consider closing my eyes.
My alertness paid off, though, as I heard a loud thump right outside my room. Jumping to my feet, I grabbed the bat and ran out, whacking the intruder with all my strength. He yelped at the sudden pain, covering his head as I prepared another strike when someone grabbed my hair from behind. Acting purely on instinct, I swung the bat behind me, hearing a satisfying crack, and felt the pull on my hair lessen. Taking the chance I was given, I sprinted off, towards the safest place I could think of.
The guild hall.
Not considering what time it was, I practically threw myself at the door, trying to get in as soon as possible, only to bounce off. As I landed on the ground, getting a bit scraped up, I realized that, most likely, everyone had gone home. I glanced at a conveniently close clock and swore loudly. It was only 1 in the morning! If have to wait till at least seven before anyone showed up!! I sighed, getting a better grip on my bat before preparing to wait for morning to arrive.-This Timeskip was brought to you by a lazy ass author-
The sun had risen, and I could barely keep my eyes open. I was lucky that I didn't have anymore surprises, seeing as I was waaaay to tired to defend myself from anyone. Hell, at this point, I was my own worst enemy, seeing as whenever if feel myself falling asleep, I'd jerk awake and hit my head on something, usually the guild's doorknob. I checked the time again, and saw it was 7:30 on the dot. I looked around praying someone would come soon, when I saw a familiar head of silvery hair. I almost started crying in relief, and would've if I wasn't so damn tired. As soon as Mira noticed me, she rushed over to make sure I was ok.
"Omg (y/n)! Are you ok!? What happened!?" She exclaimed, making sure I was unharmed. After assuring her that I was fine, I told her of my adventure. Mira, being the kind hearted girl she is, immediately unlocked the guild and ushered me in, sitting me to a couch, laying me down and throwing a blanket over me. "Alright (y/n), you can sleep here till the master comes. Then you can tell him what happened and go back to sleep." She stated. I nodded, quickly losing consciousness, despite the excitement from last night.
