2 - PARTY TIME

- Party rock is in the house tonight,

everybody just have a good time (Or not) -

I drove with my girlfriends Teesha, Kelsey and Rianne, already having our party spirit built when we pulled up. (Maybe cuz we were vibing to 'Let you love me' by Rita Ora)

As expected from a rich boy, Alex's house was quite big; 3 floors and a decent pool with a huge garden where we parked. There were party lights hung all around and music playing, of which the bass we could hear from 5 houses away.

I wonder if he ever even takes the decorations off?

"Eyy the party queens have arrived!" Alex walked up to us and gave a kiss on my cheek, taking me by slight surprise.

Probably drunk, I thought. Yea... probably.

"Party queens huh?" I raised an eyebrow and took the beer he passed.

"A little exaggerated don't you think?" Kelsey yelled trying to sound clear over the booming music.

"He's cute," Rianne commented after Alex walked off with the other two. Oh yea it is her first time meeting him. I always did think Alex was cute but he was a year younger than me... though Rianne doesn't match him. She's quite innocent for Alex.

"He's single," I nudged on her arm.

"Really? How do you know?" she asked and swirled her full cup of beer, eyeing it.

"Uhh... he's my best friend? I would know?" I awkwardly phrased, taking her beer and exchanging it with a Coke.

"Thanks. And no! Not Alex, I'm talking about him," she showed from her eyes.

A boy sat on the couch, slowly sipping his drink and looking at the celebrating crowd. Yup, he is cute and perfect for Rianne.

I took her arm and walked towards the boy, "Hey Dan! Not enjoying much I see," I smiled.

"Same old stuff," he smiled back and peeked at the girl who was trying the wriggle off.

"This is Rianne. Rianne this is Dan, Alex's cousin," I faced her and spoke through my teeth, "You'll thank me later."

After she shyly sat next to him, I left the area and took a sip of my beer.

"Cheers to being a wing woman," I spoke to myself.

*Burp*

Someone's stanky burp breath made its way to my nose.

"EWW Reiko what the fuck!" I punched his arm as he chuckled and swayed a bit.

"Did you tell hi- WOAH!" The man has had more than two or three drinks and lost balance, falling to the side. I grabbed him and gave support, "Tell what?!" I yelled above the music (Now playing 'party rock anthem' by LMFAO)

"Huh?"

"What were you saying Reiko?"

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yea. Did you *hic* tell Nathan that you- that you came here?"

What? No. Am I supposed to tell him? He already knows I go to a lot of Alex's parties and this is just another random one of them.

"No not really. Why?" I ask the drunk dude.

"Alex is gonna- HEHEHHE," he suddenly giggled and blushed, "I'm gonna sit right here."

I stop myself from questioning him basically because I doubt he'd answer anything in this state. He's definitely had a few shots too.

"It's the start of the party and you are already fucked up," I rolled my eyes as I pulled the heavy bag of bones to the couch where tired after dancing Teesha and Kelsey were making goo-goo eyes at Rianne and Dan.

"Guys! Let's play spin the bottle!" Alex walked in and immediately my heart started pounding.

With him, in walked a few of his friends and... Chealsea with her two friends Jess and Elliana. Chealsea was my ex-best friend and we didn't end on good terms. I got sick of being treated as a backup plan and I avoided her all the time. Then her friends started hating me for leaving her. Talk about an unfair world.

Who knew we'd have to meet face to face, specially here? At one random Alex party?

I awkwardly took comfort on a mini personal arm chair next to Kelsey.

"Urghhuuwow come here girl," Reiko pulled on Elliana and she sat on his lap. Chealsea sat next to her crush Jeremy, who was one of Alex's friends. Everyone settled in to play.

Sipping my beer, I looked at the bottle. Came here to have a good time and it's now ruined. I got up.

"Leaving so soon?" Jess asked.

"Some people just can't handle us" Elliana smirked as Chealsea looked at me.

"Thanks for your concern but I'm just going to get another drink," I smiled sarcastically.

Ok so leaving is not a choice. And it's just spin the bottle... I can avoid kissing people.

The game started. Each person gets a turn and they should kiss (some people make out) the person the bottle ends up pointing at but whoever refuses has to do a dare.

Alex sat in front of me and we passed each other a smile before watching the game unfold.

Luck is on for Rianne as the bottle pointed at her when Dan spun it.

"OOO SHIIII!" I grinned at her.

"Eh no no- I won't kiss him!" she stuttered.

"Whaaaa?! Woman-" Teesha started.

"Seriously?!" Kelsey said.

Dan looked a bit hurt. My hard work ain't gonna die like this.

"Alright then! I dare you to go to the dance floor and yell 'Everyone look at my dance moves' and drop to the floor and twerk!" I evil smiled, knowing she would never do that, "Either that embarrassment or just a peck with this nice guy."

She looked at Dan and a second passed before Dan leaned in and gently grabbed her face, placing a light kiss on her lips.

The crowd went wild! Kelsey dropped to the floor in 'AWWWWs' and I wiped a tear. Dan put his arm around Rianne's shoulder and they both blushed.

The game went on but I couldn't keep my focus as I felt someone looking at me.

It was Alex. He sipped on his beer as his eyes roamed my body. What is this weird feeling? My mind was questioning the sensation as my heart started racing.

Maybe it's just the alcohol messing with me but I couldn't stop from remembering our times together and all of them began to seem more romantic, especially the time when he confessed his feelings for me.

I adjusted my skirt as his eyes were on my thighs now. I'll just ignore.

A few more rounds and it was my turn.

"Woohooo let's goo Nora!"

"Spin that fucking bottle *hic*!" Teesha spoke drunk.

I spun the bottle and it landed on...
