9 - In the backseat???

The strong scent of alcohol took over our senses as we rushed inside the club. We felt out of place passing people in clothes that barely covered their bodies, while we were in loose pants and hoodies.

"Do you see them?!" Teesha asked.

"The only thing I see is the headache that's about to show up!" I yelled back.

Suddenly the people in front of us screamed and parted as a flying chair hit the floor.

"Calm the fuck down!" we heard a voice.

"Reiko?!" I shouted.

Two men wrestling each other came into the scene: Alex and Teesha's boyfriend. They were both throwing punches at each other in the middle of the club and we joined in to try to pry them off of each other.

Teesha got in the middle of them both and created distance while Reiko held Alex back. Everyone took a moment to calm their breathing.

"What's going on?!" Teesha yelled.

"Babe I was trying to help him out!" her boyfriend spoke.

Help him with what?

"Nah man! You got no right to talk about my girl like that!" Alex spat.

His... girl? My heart immediately sank at those words. True, he plays around with many girls but he's never referred to one of them as his... ever.

"You don't know her like I do! She would never play with my feelings like that!" Alex spilled out his emotions which was quite rare. Maybe it's because he's drunk, or maybe it's because he loves that girl so much to openly speak in this way.

Urgh! I'm poisoning my own drink here. Reiko motioned me to step in and take Alex home.

"Alex..." I kept my hand on his shoulder.

"Who the fuck!"

I was suddenly pushed off by him. I fell to the ground, my body harshly contacting the floor, but the fall didn't hurt badly as my feelings did.

"Nora!" Teesha rushed to my side before yelling at Alex, "What the fuck is your problem!"

I looked up to see him staring at me, half shocked and half hurt. He then clenched his jaw before looking away, his hair falling on his eyes covering them. Damn he's really pissed off.

I gave a reassuring smile to the worried Teesha and Reiko before sighing and trying to get up.

Suddenly Alex bent down next to me and put his arm under my legs.

"Ehhh?!!" I pushed on his shoulders which didn't do anything. He lifted me up and started walking out of the club.

Talk about a dramatic exit.

We got to his car and he sat me on the back seat and closed the door.

My heart started racing. He's pissed off AND kept me in the back seat.

The other door opened and he got in the backseat too.

I gulped when he looked at me and scooted closer. Oh gosh it's happening! Are we really about to do it in the backseat?!
