Jane's POV

"Yeah, she's indeed beautiful..." As I agreed in Joshua's compliment to Janella Maxine Desiderio Salvador.

I cannot help but to also stare and admire her, the woman I love since our 1st year college...

Yeah, you read it right.

I have feelings for Janella Maxine...

Sino ba namang hindi? She's pretty, kind, a pet lover, family-oriented and intelligent. She already has everything I look for...

"Bagay na bagay kayo... Such a perfect couple!" I added making Joshua blushed more.

But life is sometimes cruel and unfair because I cannot and must not love her...

Flashback

Today, I am going to confess my feelings to Maxine. It's been three years since those secret glimpse of mine started.

Since Joshua and I are in the Engineering Building, I always make time to consistently walk everyday just to see her in the Accounting Building. I even joined the club and organization she belongs to.

Those plans are not wasted as we become really close, her friends became my friends too, since they are all welcoming.

Of course, I am not sure about the outcome of this confession, but atleast I tried right?

I finally took a deep breath as I walked across the building, holding the flowers and letters I wrote to show Maxine that I am seriously in love with her.

Unexpectedly, I saw my bestfriend, Joshua with our two friends, the other varsity players.

"Hey, wazzup dude!" I fist bumped all them as we continuously walked.

"Oh, saan punta niyo ngayon?" I asked since it's unusual for them to go in this way.

"You're the one we should be asking, man! Mukhang may pinopormahan ka sa Accounting Department ha!" Paolo even nudged me with his elbow.

"Wala na, mukhang binata na talaga Jane natin!" Mark even pat my head.

"Mga siraulo..." The only phrase I said since I am shy admitting to them that I'll talk to Maxine now, baka mas tuksuhin pa nila ko.

"So, what's the flower for?" Joshua smiled as he asked me again.

"Ahhh... For Janella Maxine, in Fourth-year Section A." I scratched my nape as I cannot hold longer the kilig I felt.

"Wtf! You really do it for me, bestfriend?!" Joshua even shakes my shoulder which makes me confused.

"Whoah... You're telepathic communication is in another level, guys!" Paolo exclaimed. I wanted to ask what is the reason because I cannot comprehend what just happened.

"Love na talaga kita, bestfriend! Kilalang-kilala mo talaga ako no... Alam mo na agad sino gusto ko!"

And boom...

Joshua effortlessly answered the popped out question in my mind.

End of Flashback

Olats na nga kasi straight si Maxine, mas naging olats pa kasi mahal siya ng bestfriend ko...

I love Maxine, but I don't want to hurt Joshua, the person I also treated as my sibling.

Since that day, I become contented admiring my moon from afar... and also, my journey as a wingman has started.
