Better Without You

Chapter 3

Two years later

Waking up, I hear my brothers hollering downstairs. I stretch, get out of bed and head to the bathroom. When I looked in the mirror I saw a girl with long black hair, tan skin, and beautiful brown eyes. I look different from when I first came here. Good, I look real good. Stripping down, I get in the shower.

I wash my hair with my vanilla and strawberry shampoo, then wash my body and get out. Drying off, I wrap the towel around my body, and walk to my walk in closet and pick out a white tank to with thin stripped shirt over. Then I pull out blue high waisted shorts and get dressed. To top my outfit off I put on my black high heels and a pearl bracelet (refer to picture).

I go downstairs to to the kitchen to find my brothers pigging out. "Morning sis." They yell in unison shoving food in their faces. "Morning guys. Um, Andy you have a little something here." I say pointing to the corner of his mouth. "Oh! Thanks Ash. But, I was saving that for later." Gross. I just roll my eyes and fix myself what's left of breakfast.

After breakfast I go to my dads office. He mind linked my brothers and I to go there when we finished eating. I walk in and plop down on the black chair in front of his desk. "You called us daddy?" I asks still lounging in the chair. "Yes, We have been called to train another pack." Robert seemed a bit hesitant after he told us. "What pack?" Blake asked. "The Silver Moon pack." Everyone's eyes go wide looking straight at me.

But, when I heard that, the biggest smile came to my lips. All I think is, Ashley is coming back bitches. "When do we leave?" I ask giddy. "Well right now it is 6:30 am. So, as soon as possible." Dad said checking his watch. "But dad we have to pack our bags still!" Jake said shocked. "I had someone pack them for you while you ate. Now, go get in the car."

After making ourselves presentable, we filed out and got in the black SUV that was waiting for us. "This is crazy! He could have told us this ahead of time!" Blake exclaimed. Now Andy joins in "Yeah, I'm the eldest he could have told at least me!!" He said thing his hands up. "Well sorry Mr high and mighty." Jake said with an eye roll. I find this extremely funny. So I sit there and watch them bicker. That is, until dad gets here.

Then the driver door opens and in comes dad. "Hey three stooges," Our heads snap in his direction. "Shut up." He laughs. Then we start our journey to my old pack.

We arrive at 8:00am. Getting out we were greeted by the Alpha. "Hello Alpha Anderson." My dad says shaking his hand. "Hello Alpha Robert. Kids." Alpha Anderson nods to us. "Hello Alpha." We respond in unison politely. "Guys why don't you go to school it starts at 8:45 and I have you already enrolled." Dad smirks looking at us. Seriously? We just got here and he wants us to go to school!

So, respecting our father, we leave and grabbed the bags he brought for us and head out. When we arrive, I feel a bit nervous but remind myself I'm not how they remember me anymore. I'm the strongest warrior of the Red Rose pack. With that in mind, I step out of the car with my shades on and walk like the bad ass I am.

"They're all staring at us." Blake mind links. "Duh, we are smoking." Jake jokes and Andy and I just chuckle. We hear things like "Oh my gosh! Look at the new kids!" "Those guys are so hot!" "Look at the chick. I'd tap that." ect. By the time we reach the doors everyone is inside.

As soon as I take my shades off I hear gasps. "Oh my gosh! Is that Ashley?" "I thought she died?" "Damn she got hot!" "She may have changed, but I bet she is still weak." When I hear that I let out a low growl and they shut up. I just roll my eyes at these air heads and continue to the office.

We reach the office and I smile at Nora "Hey Nora! We would like our schedules please." When I say that she looks up and gasps. Her eyes fill with tears and chokes out "Ashley I have missed you so much! I'll get right on that." She hands us our schedules and wished is well. My brothers and I have 4 classes together. I say bye to Nora and we head to our lockers.

A loud bell sounds. "Oops looks like we are late for our first day" I say to my brothers. They laugh and we continue to our first class. I, sadly, don't have first mod with them. I walk in and the class goes silent. The teacher says "Your late Miss..." "Patterson" I say "Ashley Patterson."

When I say my name everyone's eyes go as big as saucers and the silence becomes even worse. If that's even possible. "Well miss Patterson please take a seat" He said shocked himself. I notice Chase in the back so I go and sit 2 seats across him.

Throughout the whole class, I hear everyone whisper about me. And how I changed blah blah blah. What really ticked me off was they all thought I was still weak. Just wait until training pups. Wait until training.

🌼🌺🌼🌺 Lunch 🌼🌺🌼🌺

I sit down at a table my brothers are sitting at. "Hey bros, what's up?" I asked pulling out my food. "Nothing much just sluts latching on to us all day." Andy replies with an eye roll. "Gross. I wonder how many STD'S they have" We laugh together. I stop laughing when the pack slut and her 'crew' come over.

"Aw, look girls Ashley is back. She even attempted to make herself look better." She sneered. "Shut up bitch." I growl. "What did you say to me slut?" I grip the table and try to control my wolf. My brothers look know what happens to me when I get really mad. They learned the hard way.

"I wouldn't mess with her" Jake tries to say. "Oh yeah, why is that. What is a weakling like her gonna do about it? I used to beat her all the time." She smirks. That's it, I slam my hands on the table and everyone looks at us. I stand up sick of this "I'll tell you one more time Jessica shut up!"

"Really? Is that now? What're you gonna do bout it?" She says examining her nails. I grab her by the hair and throw her across the floor. "YOU BITCH YOU RUINED MY HAIR!!!" She shifts and lunges at me but I step away easily. Shocking everyone.

She tries again but this time I lift her up still in my human form and punch her. Hard. I heard a crack and knew I broke her nose. She attacks again and aims for my legs but I rotate my hips and kick her in the ribs.

I climb on top of her and tell her to submit to me. She finally does and shifts back. I get off her and step back examining my work. She has a crooked, bloody nose, bruises everywhere, and I'm pretty sure she has a few broken ribs. Her crew come to her aid.

I dust my pants off. As I do I see Chase looking at me in complete and utter shock. Along with everyone else. All I do is smirk, flip my hair and strut out of the cafeteria with my brothers.
