Better Without You

Chapter 2

After I left the school I ran to my car and burst into tears. I needed to get out of here, I didn't know where, just somewhere. I was going to make him pay. I shifted and left the territory.

I'm not sure how long I've been running but, I was soon tackled to the ground. Growling I looked to see 3, very cute, muscular looking guys. "Shift" The one in the middle commanded. Deciding I should listen to them, I went behind a tree and put on my clothes. "Why have you trespassed into our territory" Mystery man asked. I flinched internally. Thinking to myself, I might as well tell the truth. "My mate rejected me and my pack bullied me. I couldn't stay any longer." I say very confidently.

So confident that I shocked not only myself, but the guys as well. The one on the left turns to me "I just mind linked the Alpha, he said to bring you to him." I comply and follow them. We soon arrive at a massive house, leading me inside and straight to the Alpha's office. "Come in." I hear from within the room. One of the men open the door "Sir, we have brought the rouge as you asked." The third man stated. "Thank you Johnathan." The alpha nods. He has salt and pepper hair, with big green eyes. He looks no older than 40.

"What is your name?" The Alpha asks turning his attention to me. Instantly I reply "Ashley sir." Making sure to keep my head high but enough to not seem like I'm a threat. "Why have you come on my lands?" The man questions with his elbows on the table, fingers interlocked. "Because my mate rejected me and my pack bullies me sir." I try not to let the emotions resurface, he sees this and his face softens just a little. "Well, Ashley how would you like to join my pack? After a thorough background check of course." The Alpha smiles trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh my gosh, yes! Thank you so much sir!" He simply says "Enough with this 'Sir' talk call me Robert. You are going to be like the daughter I wished I had!" Robert smiles broadly, arms open. "Okay, Robert" I say with the biggest smile ever. He points to the three men "Ashley, these are my sons Andy, Blake, and Jake."

"Hi" I smile giving a small wave. "Alright, let's go get you settled in, boys show Ashley to her room" With a wave of his hand Alpha Robert dismisses us. "Yes father " Andy, the black haired one responds. "Your gonna be the sister we never had" Blake, the dark brown haired one wraps his arm around me. "I can't wait." Jake smiled trying not to squeal like a little girl.
