Sam and Tanner had been successful in calming me down. Currently, we were sitting in my kitchen at the island with pints of Ben and Jerry's in front of us. "You know Ashley, people keep texting me saying how good you were at the party." Sam explains "It's weird, I didn't even know how half these people got my number?" I laugh at her confused scrunched up face. "Yeah, that's a bit weird." I say still laughing. Turning towards Tanner I smile "Thanks guys, I really needed our talks."
"It was no problem. Kinda felt like old times." Tanner said while Sam nods in agreement. "So, what do you guys want to do?" I asked them putting my spoon in my now empty pint container. Before anyone could say anything my phone buzzed next to me. It was dad saying that it was time to start training the pack. "Alright guys, looks like we need to kick some a**." I say showing them my phone. "I'll go change into my workout clothes. Be right back." I inform them running to the stairs.
Once I reach my room I instantly reach for my black Nike sports bra and leggings, then I throw on a white crop top. Throwing my hair in a pony tail I grab my white sneakers on the way out.
Once done I run back down to see Sam and Tanner waiting for me by the front door. "About time you finished. We're gonna be late" Tanner joked lightly pushing me out the door. "Ha ha very funny guys. Come on." I tell them sarcastically as we walk down the front porch. "Where are we supposed to go?" Sam asks. "If I remember correctly my dad said the grounds beside the pack house." Tanner explained thinking back. Heading in that direction we start to see everyone sitting in the grass in workout gear.
I see Tanner's and I fathers so we head over to them. "Hey dad." I say walking up to him. "So what do ya want us to do?" I asked him clasping my hands together. He laughs "Today we'll tech them hand to hand combat in their human forms. Nothing crazy, just teaching them how to defend themselves. See how they do today, them we'll add in more." He finished. "Sounds good. For demonstration can Ashley and I be partnered together?" Tanner asks looking between our fathers. "Yeah, that's fine. You two do well together anyways." He smiles. " Alright ladies listen up!" I yell getting their attention. Time to get this show on the road.
2 Hours Later
"And done!" I shout to signal the end of our workout for the day. I hear collective sighs as everyone falls to the ground out of their 10 minuet planks. "Honestly, I don't even know why they're complaining! That was easy." I laugh wiping the sweat off my forehead. "Right? I know I always feel so much better after an amazing workout." Tanner grins taking his shirt off and using it as a towel. I had discarded my crop top awhile ago.
"Better watch out Tanner. Those girls over there are practically drooling over you." I tease knowing he hates getting attention from girls. "Oh ha ha. You think you're so funny don't you?" He smiles wrapping his arm around my shoulder. "Hey, so about what you said a few days ago in the cafeteria." Tanner drags out. I laugh awkwardly knowing where this is going. "Yeah? I said a lot of things there, can you remind me?" Why am I so nervous all of a sudden? "Remember, I think it went along the lines of 'oh Tanner! I think I like you' and I said 'Ashley I like you too!' then we kissed blah blah blah" He smirked.
"Oh, that. Yeah. It was kind of nice ya know. The kiss, I mean." I blush lightly. He turns to me fully, grabs my face and kisses me deeply.
"Wow, that was, wow." I breath out. I totally forgot about where we are, everyone around us, and what's going on. It truly was, magical. "Yeah, wow, um, Ashley? Will-will you be my girlfriend?" Tanner stammers out. This was actually happening! "Yes!" I say without having to think about it. I look to the side to see our fathers, my brothers, and Sam all smiling at us. Suddenly, Chase storms over and pulls me aside. "What the hell are you doing Chase?!" I exclaim pushing him off me. "You can't seriously go out with him!" Chase glares at Tanner.
"Why not? It's not like we're together! So stop getting so jealous, accept the fact that You rejected Me and let me live my life!" I all but shout in his face. "You even got with someone else, then next week or month your going to be saying I only touched her once, I only kissed her once. I don't care! I'm not yours! So leave me alone." With that I flip my hair and walk away.
Then I march back over to Tanner, my boyfriend! "Come on Tanner lets go." He grabs my hand and we start heading home to clean up when a blonde bimbo tries to mess with me. "So, you think you can come here and act like miss popular?" She says getting in my face. "Get out my face. Bitch. Didn't I just teach You how to fight?" I say through clenched teeth.
She tries to punch me but I catch her wrist, twist it behind her back, and throw her to the ground. She charges at me and I flip her over my shoulder. She gets back up so I rotate my hips and kick her in the gut taking her down instantly.
She tries yet again but one punch to her her face. I hear a crack and she's out cold.
"Bitch. Don't mess with me or my friends." I give her one last glare as her crew tries to pick her up.
No one. And I mean no one messes with me or my friends.
"Anyone else have anything to say to me?" I look at the crowd. Mainly the girls who think they are all that.
"No? Good."
