Ryan leaned on the wall next to the girls bathroom, his friends: Kaylee and Laura, were helping his little sister get a hold on this new 'bleeding' thing. "You guys almost done? Class is about to start.." he ended the sentence with a sing-song voice. "So it'll just stick there? And it'll get all the blood?" Sarah asked, making sure she gained all the information she could. Kaylee nodded, "Yeah! But you'll have to change it from time to time."
Laura hummed in agreement and added, "It depends on your flow. Yours seems pretty heavy so far- for the second day. So you'll have to change atleast every thirty minutes. Sounds annoying but it'll get easier."Ryan listened in on their conversation- even if he didn't need to. He just felt that he should have some knowledge on it too. "Okay-" he ended with a groan when the bell echoed through the hallway. "English time.. Sarah you're gonna be okay?" He asked, genuinely concerned for his sister.
"Yah, dude. It's just a little blood- well, not a little, but I've got it all under control." Sarah said confidently, "Now stop worrying about me n' go. Yah gonna be late." The sentence had finished in an sassy tone when she turned around. Ryan playfully rolled his eyes and took her advice.

"Alright students, no homework tonight. I can't be bothered to grade more papers! Also, remember that there's no school tomorrow! It's 'staff development day' and we are renovating the gym."
Mrs. Milson rambled as she plopped the English textbook on her desk, sighing loudly as student's cheered about their free day tomorrow. The bell rang and people stormed out of the classroom, excited for lunch. Ryan exhaled sadly as he left the room, Laura following behind him. "Awh, someone's sad that their boyfriend didn't show up today." She teased the sad boy as a joke. "Oh, shut up. A-and he did! We came here together- but... I don't.. know where he is..."
Laura raised her eyebrow, "Maybe he just skipped class?" Ryan shrugged, "Dyl's a good boy, he wouldn't skip." His friend giggled at his response, and he glanced at her in confusion. "What?"
"Oh, nothing..." she quickly brushed it off, "Anyways... I'm gonna go sneak into Kaylee's science class- again." Ryan nodded and muttered, "Of course you are..."
Minutes later, Ryan had entered the cafeteria, performing his usual routine: looking around, taking out his earbuds, inserting them into his ears, then turning on Bizarre Yet Bonafide. Once done, he walked to his usual seat in the cafeteria.
He sat down, laying his head on the bench and burying it into his arms. His eyes closed as he listened to the podcast, it calmed him.He almost fell asleep when he felt arms wrap around him. The arm moved from his waist to his ear, carefully removing the earbud. The action made Ryan smile as he knew who it was. "Dyl..." he whispered happily. "Ry..." Dylan imitated his tone, then pressed a kiss on his cheek. Ryan giggled, "Where were you?" He questioned, slightly worried.
Dylan grinned at the fact that he cared so much, "Oh, Principal Hackett wanted me to help him with something. No big deal." He shrugged it off and took a seat next to Ryan, "Where were you?"
"In class. Like a normal person would be."
Dylan shook his head and hummed in agreement, there was no arguing with that response. After that, he smirked and sniffed the shirt he had on. It was Ryan's. "Someone's comfortable." He rolled his eyes at the boy, trying to keep a straight face. "Hell yeah I'm comfortable! This smells hella good." Dylan took one last whiff before sighing in satisfaction.
"Anyway, what do you want?" Ryan had noticed the overly sweet and happy tone that Dylan maintained when he spoke. He'd learn to identify this habit because of Sarah. Whenever she wanted something, she would sugarcoat her words. "O-oh, uhm.. what makes you think I'd want something?" Dylan stammered nervously, trying to keep a cool and collective tone.
"I can just tell. Now spill it."
Dylan exhaled in defeat, Why does he have to be so good at reading my mind?
He thought. "Uh.. I think it would be- if it's not a problem-" He stopped his sentence and inhaled deeply, "-Cool, yeah, cool if you came to our table today because I'm always coming over here and you're always sitting by yourself so I think it would be fun if you came to us because I want you to meet my friends and have fun." He rambled without stopping once, leaving Ryan to slowly process what was just said. Once done, he thought out loud. "Uhhh... hm," he paused and looked over to the table.Emma was doing karaoke; specifically singing to Abigail and watching her sketch while Kaitlyn poorly tried to sing along. His eyebrows furrowed and Dylan caught the uncertain expression on his face. "C'mon, Ry. You've already met Kaitlyn! And you know Abi. All you need to do is talk to Emma!"
"No, no. It's not that, it's-"
"-JACOB AND NICK?!"
