angst: jenna x drug addict m!reader

You and Jenna had met at a party junior year of high school, about a year ago now at this point. You both connected that night, and stayed in touch afterwards. You immediately fell in love with her, and her with you.

When you both met, you had an addiction to oxycodone. You often depended on the drug, and tried to hide it from her, but she eventually found out after you had a near fatal overdose.

Jenna and your mom helped you get detoxed, go to rehab, and recover. And for about a few months, everything seemed okay.

However, it didn't take long for you to succumb to the drug again. You were stressed out from school, as you were now a senior, and you needed something to take the edge off.

"It'll only be this once. After this, I'll quit again."

That was your original plan, but it soon ended up being a daily thing once more. You were scared of how Jenna would react to your substance abuse again, so you hid it from her.

As of right now, you were turning your room upside down, desperately looking for you small container that you kept your fix in.

"Where the fuck is it?!" You shouted, as you anxiously scoured your room, opening drawers and pulling all of the contents out onto the floor.

You walked across your room, and opened the drawer to your nightstand. As you looked inside, you became even more frustrated as your container wasn't in there.

You grabbed your lamp that was on top of your nightstand, and threw it at the wall in a fit of rage, cursing at the top of your lungs. Glass shattered everywhere, as you could hear the light bulb pop and shatter.

"FUCK!"

You began to scratch the crook of your neck, as you grunted angrily. You then kicked your backpack across your room, as you began to pace around in a circle.

Before you could do anymore damage to your room, you began to receive a text from Jenna. You quickly pulled your phone out and read the text.

"...Fuck." You cursed to yourself, as you sighed heavily, grabbing your backpack that you had previously kicked.

You rushed downstairs as you straightened your hoodie, pulling the hem down a but further. You walked up and opened the front door, slamming it behind you.

Luckily, your mother was at work at the time, so she didn't see the current withdraw syndrome that you were having.

As you walked up to Jenna's car, you anxiously clutched the strap on your backpack, as she had her window rolled down, waiting on you.
