"So he's a player?" Mary questioned, Clarissa had been followed around the care home questioned left right and center about the nameless man, soon laughing and telling her that he was Vera's grandson emitting a whistle and a wink from the older woman "Oh come on Honey, you need to let loose"

"I don't believe that's possible" She admitted, rolling her eyes as she brought the elders their water and watched as Rosemary slowly lifted it, standing guard incase her tremors came back but when her eyes met a familiar older lady standing by the door of the common room peering in she smiled, Vera hadn't been out of her room yet but she was now looking around, Loki must have promised to show up "Hello Vera, how are you?"

"I am waiting for my grandson" She spoke shortly, turning her attention around to the door as she simply awaited his arrival. After around half an hour Clarissa began to clean up the dining room, ready for afternoon snack as it neared the end of her shift and still no arrival of Loki, the clock struck six and as visiting hour began to end the door opened revealing a dark haired businessman with a charming smile and his arms outstretched for his grandma, the woman making her way over, engulfing the charming man into her arms, hearing Mary snicker softly and speak in a whisper behind her.

"I wouldn't mind him playing me" Her tone was humourous, the woman rolling her eyes in return and turning her attention to her coworker with a glare, knowing she was making a cruel joke to laugh at her misery, the woman was a senior member of staff meaning she did different hours to basic floor staff, she worked until midnight and had two days off after the fact, being a 16 hour shift with four breaks to split it up and she got paid significantly more, Mary had urged her to apply for a senior position, the offer opens up after working there for three years but barely anyone gets through after applying, her eyes travelled back to the man who spoke kindly to the woman, leading her to a small visitors seating area, made specifically to break away from the main seats for some privacy, soon feeling his eyes pierce into her own as he called out for attention, she slowly wandered over, smiling kindly.

"Could I bother you for a cup of water? Two please" He asked, smiling before she made her way out to the kitchen area, seeing Mary's eyes burning into her once she reached out and grabbed a plastic cup and pressed it against the dispenser nozzle, returning with two cups full and placing them down on the coffee table "Thank you Clarissa"

"How do you know her" Vera spoke curiously, looking to the woman who stood before her in uniform then to her grandson.

"Remember my best friend from school, Lucas? This is his little sister" He spoke softly, looking at her with a kind smile as he clutched onto his Grandmothers hand, he looked so soft and gentle with her, Clarissa refused to believe he could be so loving after hearing boyish stories all night about sex and immaturity.

"Small world" Vera spoke, looking up at her Grandson as she clutched onto his hand and looked down at the cup of water  "I seem to remember you told that her name was Clara"

"My mama calls me Clara" Clarissa replied, looking to Loki who stared with an unreadable expression, she knew what was to come next as Vera responded with a joyful tone.

"Ah Clara, that was your first kiss" She spoke happily, watching the dark haired man's flush red at the mention of his boyhood confessions to his Grandmother, Clarissa listening and feeling a blush highlight her pale cheeks as her fingers clutched onto the bottom of her shirt.

To say the memory was  one she remembered fondly would be an understatement, her father often went on nightly binges returning home slaughtered for a lack of better term and as she hid in her bedroom Loki had escaped in with her, keeping her safe as he barricaded the door and sat on the bed with her, holding her to his side, she was barely thirteen with the boy being nearly five years senior, their birthdays apart by a month, she remembers falling asleep against his chest before being gentle shook awake, seeing the morning sun barely creeping over the hills and looking up to the boy and pulling him close, their lips meeting before the moment was interrupted by Lucas forcing his way into the bedroom and apologising profusely to his friend who had to witness such a scene.
