*Chapter 5*
Love Spell
I came back from the hospital, happy that my dad wasn't home. My mom works in Chicago while I lived in Nevada.
I ran to my room and got some candles, roses, and a paper heart. The love spell I was going to do required all of those things.
As I started the spell I felt odd. Like doing a sin, but I knew it was whte magic. It wasn't harmful.
When I finished everything in the spell, I felt weird at the end of it. I liked and desired Cody even more!
The next day at school, Cody was very handsome. With a white vest, a black shirt underneath, and a white tie. When he came up to me, he told me something.
"Kat, do you want to go out with me?" said Cody taking out a rose from his binder.
I stared in awe, but I realized that he was dating Ally, and he was cheating on her!
"I thought you were dating Ally!" I said in disappointment
"I dumped her for you....."
"I will go out with you!" I cried in happiness
I loved him for a long time and it finally paid off. It didnt feel real because he was under a spell. Like if someone put me under a spell, it wouldnt be fair. But I dont care at all.
I hugged him and laughed. We both stared at each other for the whole period. I was glad I did the spell. I came back from school, knowing that my dad was resting because of his arm.
My stomach had butterflies in it because he was going to call me in a hour.
I finished my homework and waited for a long time. Why didnt time go faster?
At that exact moment my phone rang. So I picked it up, knowing that it was Cody.
"Hi, Cody" I said
"Hey babe"
"So, what are you doing?" I said
"Thinking about you every second, and tomorrow I have a surprise for you" said Cody
"Aw, thanks baby. Can you give me a hint?" I said
"Okay, its your first one" Cody said in love
"KATHERINE! COME NOW" yelled by my dad
"I have to go. See ye tomorrow Cody. Love you" I said
"Bye, you'll always be in my heart Kat. Love you' said Cody
I hung up in guilt. It wasnt real love, just magic. But at least he adores me. I ran to my dad, he was on his bed, in a grumpy mood.
"Go and make me soup, you idiot." he said harshly
I nodded and went, at least my present is tomorrow.
