The next morning, you and the guys head off to pick up Kie and Sarah. You all hoped the plan had worked, as it would make it a lot easier if the two of them cooperate. Retrieving the gold quicker.
"Do you guys need a tow?" Pope shouts, as the HMS pogue gets to where Kie and Sarah stand on the side of Pope's dads boat.
"Always plannin'" Kie says to John B, her arms crossed, "Yep." John B says cheerfully, making Kie raise her eyebrows in annoyance.
"Did you two make up?" You ask looking between the two of them. They look towards you then share a glance, "No." Kie says turning back to you,
"Not a chance." Sarah confirms. "But." Kie interrupts, making the group hopeful, "We've decided to work together— for the gold." Kie admits. You notice Sarah wink at Kie, showing theyre possible friendship.
"Thats a success!" John B says, happy his plan worked and that his best friend and girlfriend were getting along, "Yeah, we'll take it." JJ says, patting John B on the back.
"Well let's get going then." Kie says jumping onto the HMS pogue as JJ hooks the rope to the other boat.
"We've got some gold to retrieve." You say opening your arms for Kie as she hugs you, "How was your sleepover?" You ask chuckling, she does too, "Good— But don't let they guys know that." She says, you nod.
The six of you hurry into the Twinkie, with all the supplies you'll need to get down to the bottom of the well. Once you get to Mrs Crains house it's dark.
"Ready?" John B asks as he stops the van, everyone nodding and agreeing. The door is opened and we all start to pile out, "Let's go get rich guys." JJ says
"Hell yeah." Kie says, as we make our way towards the wall. Sarah climbs over it first, the rest of us following.
You stand in front of the house but an outside light quickly turns on, "Shit!" You all gasp, ducking behind some hedges. "Flashlights." Kie instructs, making you all turn them off in a rush.
"Okay, so she has motion sensor lights." Pope says as he tries to catch his breath.
"We could, uh... move really slowly, maybe?" JJ suggests making all of you confused, "What?" Sarah asks, "Thats not how it works." You tell him.
"Let's throw a rock at it." John B suggests, yet another stupid idea, "What?" Pope asks in a high pitched voice.
"That's a real good idea. Let the axe murderer know that we're here." Kie says sarcastically.
"John B that is so dumb." You say, complaining about his stupidity
"Throw a rock at it?" Pope questions, "Okay, have you guys got a better idea?" John B asks defensively.
