𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 || 𝘓𝘰𝘢𝘬 𝘚𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 ✔️

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟰: 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲

The sully kids were walking out of marui pod down towards the ocean. The sand was warm, ocean glistening, and waves crashing. It was quite relaxing to Neteyam and Kiri. On the other hand Lo'ak wasn't paying attention to any of that all he could think about was HER. All night and morning was her constantly in his mind.

They got down to the shore where Aonung, Tsireya, and Aila were. They all greeted them except Lo'ak which was out of it day dreaming. Neteyam bumped his side which got him out of the trance and he jumped slightly. He finally realized where they were and scanned the area until he stopped, laying his eyes on Aila, getting flustered as he saw her beauty.

Lo'ak got interrupted by Aonung saying something like, "if you want to live her, you have to ride" or something like that, Lo'ak wasn't paying that much attention.

Lo'ak finally focused his attention as Aonung called over some ilus. They circled around him and he pointed at Lo'ak. As Lo'ak moved forward he could see Aila and Tsireya whispering about something, could it be him?

Aonung, always seeming to make Lo'ak lose his train of thought, started to talk directly to Lo'ak. "Make the bond, your going to want to take a deep breath and go under, it's going to be rough" Aonung said sternly. Lo'ak nodded as if saying he got this.

Lo'ak made the bond, looked at Aila and smiled subtlety. He took a deep breath and went under, now he understood what Aonung was talking about, it was really rough. Lo'aks face was getting pushed against the water, barely holding on, and not even on the ilu, just kind of floating on top.

The three Metkayian children had their heads underwater watching Lo'ak ride. Lo'ak spent about 15 seconds on the ilu before the pressure against his face got to much.

Right as Lo'ak fell off Aonung came up laughing and Tsireya laughed along with him. Lo'ak came up and looked straight at Aila which was covering her smile, slightly giggle. Lo'ak started to blush with embarrassment.

Tsireya suggested splitting up into groups to have one on one training. They all agreed, Lo'ak agreed just because he hoped to spend some alone time with Aila.

Tsireya pointed at Kiri and Tuk and waved them over, Aonung pointed at Neteyam and waved him over, so that left Aila and Lo'ak. He got his wish but did Aila want to be with Lo'ak.

Aila started to walk away along the shore. Lo'ak didn't know if he should follow her but he decided to run and catch up with her. It was awkward at first but they eventually got to talking. Lo'ak was telling stories about being in the forest and what it was like. Lo'ak mostly kept his line of sight straight but every once in a while he would look over at Aila and see her beaming smile as he talked.

Aila was laughing uncontrollably when all of a sudden she tripped over a rock on the shoreline and started falling. Out of instinct she turned around as she was falling and grabbed Lo'ak's wrist, bringing him down with her. Aila landed on her back, Lo'ak landing on top of her.

Lo'ak groaned, putting his hands on the sand bringing some of his weight off of Aila. They didn't immediately notice they were on top of each other but Aila still had her hand on Lo'ak's wrist. Once they realized they both started apologizing.

They looked away from each other, blushing. Lo'ak noticed that Aila started to wipe her eye, trying to get something out, he assumed it was sand so he asked to help.

He brought his hand up and placed it on her cheek. He eventually got the sand out of her eye.

He couldn't help but compliment her on her beautiful ocean eyes.

Aila lightly slapped Lo'ak on his chest and started to blush even harder.

They eventually got off of each other, Lo'ak helping Aila up.

She mentioned starting to train again but eclipse had already started and they needed to get back to their pods.

"Can we just continue tomorrow, if that's ok with you?" Lo'ak asked with a slight flirty tone in his voice. "Fine, but don't think I'll go this easy on you tomorrow!" Aila said playfully. They started to laugh and walk back to the others.

Tsireya, Kiri, and Tuk we're slightly in the water with Tuk feeding the ilu and Kiri sitting on a rock.

"Where's Teyam and Aonung?" Lo'ak asked making Kiri jump a little. Their on their way back, they stopped on a rock to talk with Roxto for a second" Kiri said annoyed. "Who's Roxto?" Lo'ak asked Aila. "He's my brother's best friend, their always together." Aila said tiredly.

Lo'ak noticed that she was about to fall asleep so he offered to walk her to her pod, she agreed. Aila said goodbye to Tsireya, that gave her a wink. Lo'ak noticed but didn't say anything, just smiled.

They started walking getting back to what they were talking about before.

Before they knew it they were back at Ailas family's pod. Lo'ak put Aila's hands in his and started to say how much he enjoyed being with her today and how it was probably one of the best times he's had in a while. Aila couldn't help but blush at his words and she said she felt the same and how she was sorry about how her brother laughed at him falling off the ilu. Lo'ak said it's fine and that it worked out because he got to be with her.

There was an awkward silence for a couple seconds and Lo'ak said that he probably needs to bring his sisters home. Aila said goodnight, Lo'ak said the same.
As they were parting ways, blushing, they held hands until their fingertips fell away from each others grasp.

Lo'ak went to where his sisters were and to his surprise his brother, Aonung, and who he could only assume was Roxto were talking with them.

Lo'ak walked up to them and greeted them, they did the same. Aonung asked where Aila was and Lo'ak mentioned that he had walked her to their pod. Aonung seemed upset by this, there was no reason to be other than him being protective over her, but Lo'ak decided not to question it.

Eclipse was almost over so they knew that they had to be home all of them parted ways and headed back to their pods.

Jake and Neytiri were already at the pod when the four of them arrived. They greeted each other and Tuk ran up into Neytiri arms, while the other three children went to sleep after a long day of "training."

As Lo'ak was laying down he couldn't stop thinking about her, how much fun he had with her today, them being on top of each other, and holding hands. It made his heart fluster in ways it never had before. He never found anyone like her in the forest.

Lo'ak started to think that maybe being away from the forest wouldn't be so bad after all.

Finally he dozed off thinking about Aila.

I did leave out the part where they were learning how to dive. I will include the part where they are learning to control their breath but in a different way then the movie if that makes sense.
I can't wait to see how Lo'aks and Ailas story plays out and can't wait for you to read it!
