Aila woke up to the burning sun on her face, even though it burned slightly she enjoyed it. She always had.

She looked down to her lap to where Lo'ak had fallen asleep last night but to her surprise he wasn't there.

She had thought he just went with his family or something so she went to go do her duties around the village.

Eclipse had started to fall and Aila hadn't seen Lo'ak all day, she had started to grow worried.

She started to walk back to her Marui when she had finished her duties.

As she was walking she saw her younger sister,

"Reya! Have you see Lo'ak anywhere?" Aila questioned.

"No why?"

"Because I haven't seen him all day, I'm starting to get worried."

"We'll do you want me to help you look for him?"

"Yes please!"

And with that the two girls started walking around the island looking for Lo'ak but anywhere they looked, they couldn't seem to find him.

"Oh gosh, what happened to him?" Aila said, clearly distressed.

"Aila I'm sure nothing happened to him, maybe he's just been somewhere all day."

Aila gasped and a look of realization spread across her face.

"Aila?" Reya questioned.

"I know where he is."

"Where?"

"Payakan, he's with Payakan."

"Wait, wha-

Aila cut Reya off when she started running towards the Marui pod. Maybe he was back but if not she would have to go out looking for him.

Reya sighed and started to chase after Aila.

They ran into Aila's Marui pod and right as they got there Aila noticed something that somehow she didn't see before, a piece of paper with Lo'ak's hand writing on it.

Aila, I'm sorry but I promised him I would go back out and see him. I know you didn't want me to but he's my friend and I know he would never hurt me.

The note read.

"Aila what is it?" Reya questioned.

"He is with Payakan. He's been with him this whole time. How could I not realize that. I'm so stupid."

"Your not stupid."

"I told him not to go!"

"Maybe you should just go wait for him, let him explain his side."
