Verfection and Voixer stood in the grocery store together, grabbing stuff from the shelves.

"Considering last time you tried to bake- do you think we can actually pull this off?"

"Yeah. Pretty confident about it this time- otherwise we'll just go to a bakery or buy chocolates"

"Sounds good. Where are we baking these cookies?"

"At my apartment! I don't really have much back at my forest home"

"I never knew you had an apartment-"

"Now you know! Let's pay for these now"

The two headed over to the checkout area, paying for their groceries and headed out of the store and into the busy streets of the city. They navigated through the crowds and turned to a more calmer and empty street, tucked away within the city of points.

"I never really thought about the apartments here, points actually live here?"

"Of course! Sterneedle lives here too- they live next door"

"Oh- are we close yet?"

"We're here actually" Verfection pointed at the apartment beside them, Voixer looks at it with amusement.

"I never really thought you'd have more than one house- since I hear you used to live in the emporium ruins, is that correct?"

"Yeah..."

"Why would you live in the ruins that the others found you in- like under a pillar even"

"It's peaceful in there for a while. Away from loud or stressful things, I could be able to relax. The streets sometimes get crowded or noisy here- and I didn't even remember my old home at the time so that was my best place to stay"

"Oh alright! Let's go inside now"

Verfection nodded and walked over to the door, opening it and letting Voixer go inside first. He follows after him inside, placing the groceries at the kitchen counter. Voixer sits by the table, resting.

"That was quite a walk, and you say you walk from here to your job as a waiter in a restaurant that's far from here?"

"Exercise is good for my health- even if it probably doesn't do much"

"And you're willing to walk that far for a paycheck that could only afford you like what? A day's worth of food?"

"I mean we're points, we can last longer without food than humans-"

"True, but still! And you have the habit of eating fastfood because it's all you ever afford unless you started saving it"

"Actually some of my money goes to rent-"

"Oh"

"Yeah- I buy a week's worth of groceries then use the rest of the money for rent, I don't just live here for free"

"Sorry- not really knowledgeable about these things-"

"It's okay. Let's get to baking okay?"

"Okay!"

Verfection removed the ingredients out of the plastic, and prepared everything needed for baking. He grabs two aprons and hands one to Voixer, wearing the apron.

"Right so- I don't have a recipe to follow"

"Oh no- this is not going to end well"

"But! I sort of remember the measurements! Don't worry"
