[Romantic] Ulipse x Second Star Saviour

Requested by leafiisleafi! Got hit with writing burnout so this took a long while-

The Saviour headed towards Ulipse's world, stepping onto the cool sandstone floor and making their way over to where Ulipse would be. She didn't seem to be in her usual spot, leaving the Saviour scratching their head.

"Where is she? She's usually here everyday..." The Saviour muttered to themself. A flash of purple and white pass by and they could see Ulipse tackling Ixol, grabbing him.

"Got you! Now let go of that pancake, that's mine!"

Ixol shook his head and ate the pancake whole.

"Oh you did NOT just do that"

"What if I did?"

"no pancakes for you in a month"

"NOOOO"

"That's what you get for eating that pancake! Now get out of here."

"Fine! I'll just check in on Anshine for pancakes for a month!" Ixol stomped his way out of the world, Ulipse's gaze met with the Saviour's and looked surprised.

"Oh my stars- did you saw all of that?"

"I saw how you tackled Ixol and him eating the pancake, I'm sorry for your loss."

"It's fine, I can just make some later. Now what are you doing here?"

"I went to visit my favorite person of course!"

"Favorite... Person?"

"Of course! What did you want me to say 'the one I love'?"

"Now hold on- what?" Ulipse seemed bewildered over the saviour's statement.

"I said what I said. It's not that hard to understand"

"You- You- I-" she didn't know what to say, barely able to gather any words to form any sort of statement, everything was so sudden to her.

"I'm sorry I should've told you sooner, I was afraid to tell."

"No it's fine, but why do you say it so calmly?"

"Because I'm certain of how I feel. But do you... Return the feeling?"

"Well, I... I need to think about this, Saviour."

"Oh please, Ulipse. You can call me Y/N, Star Saviour is... Too formal and it doesn't really have a nice ring to it considering what happened"

"That freak may say it was all a narrative, but you're still a hero in the end. You helped us get rid of him at least, even if it was all set up. And I admit, you're a saviour to me. I've never really been so open with anyone until you came in. I was rude and harsh to you but you were still so kind to me, understanding me deeply than I could ever thought anyone would."

"It was the least I can do. I want all the points to trust and befriend me, I don't want you to remain so isolated in your little desert home. The points are your family or friends and I'm... I don't know what I am to you"

"Then you're someone special to me, and me alone. More than a friend, if you're willing"

"Best friends?!"

"No- more than that"

"Best best friends?!"

"Sav- Y/N stop messing around, I'm serious"

"Hah- I'm sorry Ulipse, I can't help but to joke around a bit. Lighten the mood up a little- I'm sorry if it was a bit inappropriate for a time like thi-"

Ulipse pulled the Saviour to a hug, holding on for a moment.

"I'm just thankful, you were someone in my life I can trust and care for deeply. Considering Celesteal's actions, I don't know who to trust, who's real or not. And if those closest to me were even real to begin with. But I feel reassured seeing you."

"I'm flattered, but could we change up the topic, we do sound super formal and dramatic like those romance movies or books and-"

"Then let's eat some pancakes, have you had breakfast today?"

"In all honesty I can't even cook an egg-"

"Is that why your house almost burned down and had to call Compale for assistance?"

"... Yeah, as much as I don't want to admit, I've been mostly feeding myself with anything I can buy that's ready to eat or what the others could offer-"

"Then come to my 'house' and eat breakfast with me! Ixol's not going to come here again anyway, he knows when to stay away."

"Sure, I'd love some pancakes, I heard from Anshine you make the best kind of it"

"Oh his pancakes are really good too, though he's probably right about mine. Sometimes it's not just about satisfying your hunger, you got to make the experience incredible and the food tasting delicious no matter how cheap the ingredients will be."

"I'd love to learn how to cook from you- I'm quite unhealthy with all these fast food stuff"

"Sure, that's not a problem to me. I don't mind having some company here daily, it gets quite lonely"

"That's why I'm here, I'll be more consistent in visiting you... So what are we now exactly?"

"Dating? Isn't it a little too fast?"

"We can take it slow and learn more of each other through these visits, whatever you find comfortable in this situation."

"Sounds good, now come on, I got pancakes to cook" Ulipse said, her symbol flickered, as she gazed to the saviour who had a smile in their face. The two headed to Ulipse's 'house' and the Saviour watched as she made pancakes, slowly learn how to make them too. She'd place down the two plates of pancakes, one for her and the Saviour and placed the bottle of syrup and container of butter on the table. They had a rather quiet breakfast, but they were content and appreciative of each other's company. It was a comforting and peaceful silence where nothing seems off, for now.
