SaiOuma DRV3 - Killing Harmony

The Beginning

( this is my first story so far - bare with me lol )————————————————————————
Shuichi POV
I had suddenly stumbled out of a locker, falling so fast I could barely brace for impact. I slowly lifted my head. Not only was my head already spinning from falling out of a locker but where was I?

Kaede POV
I felt dizzy from the rush of everything happening so far and I tried to grasp the thought of this place, that looked to be a classroom. Was I dreaming? I pinched my cheek but it only made it worse, now my head was hurting in two places instead of one. When I finally felt I had began to grasp this reality, a sudden swaying and shaking from one of the lockers began. As I fearfully turned around, the locker door slowly opened and a boy fell out of it. He looked shocked.

Shuichi POV
As I began standing, I noticed a girl standing in the room with me. Out of fear, I screamed -
"...Ahh!"  "How rude! Don't freak out like I'm some sort of monster!" She replied. I apologized to her, then asked "Where am I?" Her face suddenly became less stern, but more of a frown. "I'm not exactly sure either, I stumbled out of one of these lockers too." She sighed.
When suddenly -
"Rise and shine ursine!" These small robotic bears popped up out of nowhere. Me and the girl quickly jumped back and our bodies once again rushed with adrenaline. "A teddy bear..?" She asked. "We're no teddy bears, we're the Monocubs!" One of them defensively shouted. "Huh... Monocubs?" "Oh, you've heard of us?" The pink one asked. "O-Of course not! I've never seen walking, talking stuffed animals!" As soon as the she said that, the Monocubs looked at each other and... "It worked!" "Had me worried there for a second!" They started, relieved.

Kaede POV
"W-Worried about what? What's going on?" I shakily asked. "Well? What's your questions?" "I have loads of questions, but for starters... Where are we? It looks... like a school?" The Monocub looked at me and said, "This place is called the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles." Me and the boy next to me were confused. "Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles? I've never heard of a school like that." Of course you haven't! This school was made for the sixteen of you!" The pink Monocub beamed. "Wait, sixteen...?!" "Yes! And you both know what ultimates are, right?" I shook my head. "Ultimate basically means you're particularly prodigious in a particular talent." The blue one looked quite irritated then interrupted - "Shut up and get started already!" "Get started with... what?" "Exploring the academy, of course. Also, you should introduce yourself to the other ultimates. Cuz you're all going to do an activity together later."
So long, bear well!
They all then disappeared, leaving me and the other boy in nothing but shock and confusion. "I... suppose we should look around then. We should try to find the other ultimates." I agreed, nodding my head, and we headed out of the classroom, in search for the others.

Shuichi POV
That all came out of nowhere. I mean, everything so far has. I stumble out of a locker to find another girl, in this school for ultimates? Now that I think about it, I don't know her name yet. I hesitated for a moment but then said, "Er... I'm Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Detective." She turned to me confused and kindly smirked. "Oh, I'm Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Pianist. Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier!" "I-It's alright! Same with me." We continued wandering around the school, hoping to find someone or new information about this place that we didn't know. An Academy for Gifted Juveniles? Something's definitely off with this place.

- Around 1 hour later -

Shuichi POV
It seems as if we've been looking around for so long... "This place is huge." I sighed. She looked at me with a warm smile. "It is, isn't it? I am pretty tired from all of the walking..." When we were about to take a break from wandering we heard a noise.

THUD

Shuichi POV
"A-Ah?! What's that noise?!" We cautiously walked closer to where the thud happened and to our surprise discovered a... cafeteria? Kaede anxiously looked at me and said, "Do you think other Ultimates are in here?" I stood there in silence for a second, until replying, "I'm not sure, but let's see." I opened the cafeteria door, to find... other people.
The others suddenly turned to us.
"That makes sixteen of us." One with green hair said. Kaede and I anxiously walked towards them, and one with blonde hair and goggles walked closer towards us. "Who the hell are you guys?" "I'm Shuichi Saihara, the Ultimate Detective." "And I'm Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Pianist!" Then suddenly,
A short boy with purple hair walked up to us.
"Now we have an emo and a piano player. Wow, this'll definitely be useful." He sarcastically said. I held my tongue. "And who are you?" Kaede responded. He looked at us with a sinister smile and said, "I'm Kokichi Ouma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader! With a secret evil organization... of over 1,000 members!" "1,000?!" Kaede blurted out. "Yep! I, am their leader." He proudly stated. "Then why haven't I ever heard of this organization?" "It's a secret organization! Of course you wouldn't have heard of it." He scoffed. "Either way, I already would've had one of my members kill you if you found us." We went silent for a moment. A secret organization? Yet, hm, a Supreme Leader. I couldn't help but examine him. He was shorter than average and his purple hair curled up at the ends. His skin was pale, but his eyes had shined a purple that stood out when he would menacingly smile. I couldn't help but examine everything I could about him. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." I suddenly snapped out of my somewhat daydream and became embarrassed when I realized I'd been staring for a while. "What? Am I that hot?" He smirked. "Anyways, This conversation is getting boring..." He said in a disappointed tone. "I'm leaving now... Bye Saihara!" He said as he ran off. "He didn't even say anything to me!" Kaede confusingly said. "He's an... interesting person. Wasn't he, Kaede?" She nodded. And interesting he was. I've never met someone like him, even when we've only met for what seems like 10 minutes. He makes me curious of what else he's like. I shook my head, and sighed. I suppose this is only the beginning.
