The Rules

Shuichi POV
I watched as the boy walked off, going over to a girl with blonde hair and goggles. I sighed, turning my head to the other people. Why were we all here? My brain already hurt from all of this... Suddenly, a monitor began to turn on...

-Monitor-
Hello, students! Please report to the dining hall! I repeat, all students, report to the dining hall! Thank you!~

Shuichi POV
I slightly jumped at the sudden voice from the monitor, but the adrenaline melted down to anxiety. Why are we wanted in the dining hall? I suppose Kaede and I should go, what other choice do we have?

Kokichi POV
Jeez! This whole situation is already getting on my nerves and now we have to go to the dining hall? Where the hell even is that? He rolled his eyes and looked up at the blonde girl.

"Looks like I have to get going!~ See 'ya later, sow."

The blonde girl let out an embarrassed shriek as she covered her face. He let out a soft laugh as he walked off, his hands behind his head as his elbows pointed out. For a vulgar girl as herself, she got flustered easily and it was amusing for Kokichi. He began to walk with the rest of the crowd out of the cafeteria to the dining hall, which presumably wouldn't be too far away.

Shuichi POV
He began to walk with Kaede out the cafeteria to find the dining hall. It shouldn't be far, right...? After looking through rooms for not too long, they found large doors and they opened to their destination. Shuichi's eyes slightly widened in relief as they walked inside. "Here it is..." He sighed, looking over to Kaede.

As the rest of the students followed behind, a robotic bear popped up from the stage. Everyone turns their heads, facing the bear.

"Heya! I see you made it! How kind of you all to show~" A tall boy with purple hair clenched his fists as he shouted, "What the hell are you and why are we here?!" The bear looked at him, seemingly annoyed but gave a dramatic sigh. "I'm Monokuma! I am your headmaster at this academy! And why you're here? That's simple, of course!~" He beamed. "You'll all be participating in... a killing game!" The students immediately silenced, freezing in shock and horror. "What...?" A student muttered. "That's right! In order to graduate and leave this school, you'll have to kill one another! Now, doesn't that sound fun?" He sarcastically added, a malicious tone in his voice. They all glared up at him, some were terrified and some others were too scared to comprehend this while some others just stood there, trying to understand this all.

Shuichi POV
A... killing game? His heart dropped at the thought. What's the meaning of this? He thought to himself, trying to control his fear as he let out a breath. Yet his detective instincts were also getting the better of him as he searched the room with his eyes... Why would someone do this? A killing game?

Monokuma began to laugh. "I'll explain the rules to y'all! You can murder however you want. Strangulation, stabbing, burning, punching, Anything! I really don't give a crap! But~ After the victim is killed, investigation will take place and later on, so will a class trial! Y'all will have to find out who the killer is. If the killer successfully gets away with the murder and you students pick the wrong person, everyone else dies and the culprit gets to graduate, leaving the school! But if the culprit is caught, they'll be the only one punished."

The students stared up at him... Then, the same tall, purple haired boy broke the silence. "Wh-What the hell?! You really expect us to listen to you?!" His anger was clear as he grit his teeth.

"Of course!~ If a murder doesn't occur in 3 days, all students will be executed! You wouldn't want that, would you?~ So, I suggest you all get this killing on the road!" He grinned. "Now, for some rules. No leaving your room during night, no vandalism, and no violence towards the headmaster! If any of these are broken, you will be punished." Most nodded, others looked down at the ground nervously. "Great! You all have assigned rooms and will be shown to them later... other than that, have fun killing!" He then left the stage.
