After dinner Brooklyn and Scarlett returned to the movie room and watched the ending of Fast & Furious 7. Both Scarlett and Brooklyn cried their eyes out.

"Why did he die?" Scarlett said as a tear ran down her face, the last scene now beginning. Dom and Brian were seen on the screen, smiling at eachother as they started to drive.

"That just makes it even more sad, look at him." The pair were cuddled up again, Letty's arms around his torso as Brooklyn held her.

"I feel like I'm not gonna be able to stop crying for a while." Brooklyn muttered, resting his chin on top of Scarlett's head as some tears ran down his face.

"Brook?" Letty whispered as the movie ended, the credits starting to roll. "What is it, Letty?" He whispered back at her, rubbing her arm peacefully.

"Why are you doing this?" Brooklyn frowned at her words, not knowing what she was talking about. "What do you mean?"

"Why are you talking to me and watching movies with me while cuddling? Why do you wanna be my friend? I don't get it." A sigh left Brooklyn's lips at her words, sadness creeping in at the thought of Scarlett thinking this way.

"Because you're the coolest person I've ever met and you've made me laugh more in these last 24 hours than I have laughed in a week. You make me feel happy, and I know it might seem like we are taking this friendship way too fast. I want you to know that I really hope we hang out a lot and that we can get to know eachother better. I really like you."

Letty stayed silent after Brooklyn stopped talking, so he raised her chin looking at her face. "Okay?" She nodded in response, a small smile forming on her face. "Thank you."

They stayed silent for another while, just enjoying eachothers presence. Letty started wondering about Brooklyn's childhood and how school was and what he did in his free time, but all of that was shoved to the back of her head at that moment. Never had she felt so safe as she had with him now. Just the feeling of a pair of arms wrapped around her, those being Brooklyn's, was great.

And Brooklyn, Brooklyn was wondering what Letty's favorite meal was, whether she liked pizza over burgers, or the other way around. Or maybe she doesn't like junk food and eats really healthy.
He wanted to know the little things.

But he too, was enjoying the moment itself the most. Having Letty in his arms made him feel some sort of way and he could already feel the butterflies fluttering in his stomach, which he already felt the moment he saw her in that cookie aisle. The innocence in her tired eyes when she turned around, mixed with some annoyance. The way she talked about things and said whatever came to mind was extremely fascinating to Brooklyn, as he had never met anyone like that before.

He grew up having to bite his tongue around so many people, the smallest mistake could cause a whole lot of commotion and that's not what any of them wanted. His parents wanted what was best for him and if that meant having to bite your tongue, that's what they were going to do. It's how he grew up, how his parents were around almost everyone. Just one sentence could cause a whole scene.

So now that Brooklyn found Letty, he was not planning on letting her go anytime soon. In only 24 hours Brooklyn had noticed many many things about Letty, of course the spontaneous behavior wasn't the only thing he liked about her. You see, Brooklyn is a very quiet type of boy. A wallflower, he sees things. Doesn't talk often and does not like being the center of attention. Ofcourse, when you're a Beckham, you have no choice but to get noticed.

But that's not what Letty did. She didn't know about it when she met him, which already says a lot on how she acts towards him. She keeps forgetting about it, another thing that shows how cool she handles it all. She's full of surprises. And of course, she was just so fückíng beautiful.

Never had Brooklyn seen anyone that made him feel like that, that made him feel the butterflies. He'd been on dates with girls, he's not stupid. He knows he's only 16 and has plenty of time to find someone, to date, to experience things. And that's why he was just going to go with it, see what happens.
