Sakunosuke was sat on the couch while reading his favorite book, the news playing on the television in the background.
He heard a knock at the door in a signature pattern and he smiled a bit.
When the door opened, he glanced over.
"Hey, Sayu. You're- oh my God!"
The moment he saw the blood dripping down her arm and leg, he sprung off the couch, his book completely forgotten about.
"What happened?! Are you okay?!"
"I'm fine," Sayuri brushed it off as she smiled at Sakunosuke. "Just scratches that need some patching. By the way, I want you to meet Osa!"
Sakunosuke finally looked over to the boy who was helping his sister. He scanned the stranger who had a cheeky smile that matched his sister's.
"Osamu Dazai, am I right?" Sakunosuke replied as he let them both inside, shutting the door behind them.
"The one and only! And you must bethe famous Sakunosuke Oda!" Dazai remarked. "Sayu has told me so much about you!"
"Likewise," Saku replied with a nod. "Now come on. Let's get you guys patched up. I don't want to clean blood off the floor if I don't have to."
They all crowded into the small bathroom where Sakunosuke dug through the cupboards to get some first aid for his sister and her friend.
Dazai looked between the two siblings, seeing how much they truly looked alike. "Sayuri Oda and Sakunosuke Oda. So Sayu and Saku. Do people ever confuse you?"
"That's a strange question," Sakunosuke replied as he pulled out the bandages and the alcohol.
"Odasayu and Odasaku," Dazai rambled on, mostly just distracting himself from the pain coming from the gash in his chest.
"Dont hurt yourself. Why don't you just stick to Sayu," Sayuri said with a lopsided smile.
"Then I'll call you Odasaku! There no confusion!" Dazai beamed as he shook off his jacket before unbuttoning his bloody white shirt.
"What the hell happened to you two?" Sakunosuke questioned as he looked at the wound on Dazai's chest.
"Wish we could tell you, but it's confidential," Sayuri replied with a sigh.
"Yeah, yeah. I know," Sakunosuke grumbled.
The room fell into silence as Sakunosuke helped patch the both of them up.
"Are you gonna stay for dinner, Dazai? We're having tonkatsu," Sakunosuke offered after finishing up wrapping Sayuri's leg.
"I won't turn down free food!" Dazai replied with a grin.
Sayu smiled as she carefully stood up. "We can have a movie night! Reports can happen in the morning!"
"You know Mori won't like that," Dazai replied.
"He can eat shit. As long as it gets done, there's no issue. Reports are boring anyways," Sayu remarked, walking out of the bathroom behind her brother.
Dazai chuckled lightly before following the two sibling assassins.
