Ryuunosuke walked into the mafia headquarters, the black coat that had been given to him was draped over his shoulders.
He was constantly aware of the man walking beside him.
"I have someone I'd like you to meet," Dazai spoke with a playful smile. "Well, not meet exactly. From my understanding, you already know each other."
Ryuunosuke looked at Dazai in confusion. He had just lost his friends and had agreed to join the mafia as an underling under Osamu Dazai. This was all a bit overwhelming.
They came up to a door and walked into the room.
"Oh! You're back! I was-"
Ryuunosuke made eye contact with the redhead and an unfamiliar feeling flooded his bones. He felt the urge to hug her, though he shoved that thought away as soon as it came.
"Ryu? What are you doing here?" Sayuri spoke as she stood from Dazai's chair, walking over to the two boys.
"He is going to be my new student. Good choice, don't ya think?" Dazai announced.
"I wish you would've told me," Sayuri said with a sigh. "But yes. I'm sure he'll make a great student. If you're looking for my approval, you've got it."
Ryuunosuke looked between the two. So she didn't know about any of this?
"Wonderful! I was hoping that you would get his sister," Dazai continued, walking over to his desk. "I spoke with Mori and squared away some housing for the two of them."
"Okay. Yeah, I can do that," Sayu agreed as she gave a nod. She then turned to Ryuunosuke and put her hands on his shoulders. "Are you okay? He's not too scary, is he?"
Ryuunosuke shook his head, still trying to comprehend the whole situation. After a moment, he spoke. "His eyes were the ones you fell in love with, right?"
Dazai raised an eyebrow slightly as he continued searching through his papers.
Sayuri laughed lightly, surprised he remembered that. "Yes. That's my Dumpster Boy."
"Hey!" Dazai grimaced as he looked up.
"Oh, hush." Sayuri waved him off with a smile. "I'm gonna go get Gin. Where did you get them a place?"
"I'll send you the unit location once I find the paper," Dazai mumbled.
"Maybe organize your shit and it would be easier to find," Sayuri snarked before she left the office.
Ryuunosuke stared at the door for a moment before Dazai threw up a hand with a paper in his grasp.
"Eureka!" Dazai cheered before plopping down in his chair. "So, Akutagawa, I have a few questions."
Ryuunosuke turned to look at Dazai, standing in front of his desk.
"What does Sayuri say about me?"
