[The next day after breakfast, the army came together to plan an attack because a faun had seen a Telmarine soldier spying on them. Peter decided that they needed to attack the palace because according to him, Miraz's army and war machines were on their way to the how, and those men weren't protecting The Telmarine castle. However, Caspian disagreed and he wanted to stay in the how because one, nobody had even tried to take the Telmarine castle, and second, they had the advantage inside the how. Trumpkin, Reepicheep, and Edmund agreed with Peter while Susan and Trufflehunter agreed with Caspian. Lucy wanted Aslan's guidance but Peter disagreed with her and in the end, they decided to listen to Peter and go with his plan. They trained all morning and afternoon, and after an early dinner, everyone got ready for the palace raid. When it was dark, everyone made their way over there, but the raid didn't go as planned. Caspian ended up rescuing his professor from the dungeons that he was in, and in some words, his professor ended up making him understand that Miraz had murdered his father. Caspian found out that Miraz had indeed murdered his father, which made his aunt extremely heartbroken. The Narnians fought against The Telmarines but in the end, many of them decided to sacrifice themselves for the others to escape since Miraz's army had them surrounded. Once everyone got back to the how more problems started to arise. Peter blamed Caspian for their failure while Caspian blamed him for not going with his plan of staying at the how. Before they could start fighting, Edmund yelled at them to stop it, and they turned around to see Trumpkin's lifeless body. Lucy quickly ran to him, gave Trumpkin a drop of her cordial, and he then came back to life. Nikabrik took advantage of the whole situation and followed Caspian into the how. Together with a hag and a werewolf, they tricked and lied to Caspian into almost releasing Jadis, the white witch from her icy prison. Thankfully, the siblings got there just in time to kill the hag and werewolf, Lucy stopped Nikabrik from killing Trumpkin and when Nikabrik tried to kill her, Trumpkin killed him first, and Peter was almost tempted by Jadis. However, Edmund broke the ice wall, which snapped Peter out of it, and that's when Susan came in and saw everything. She looked at both Caspian and Peter with an angry look in her eyes, and then she stormed off. Peter and Edmund threw the bodies of Nikabrik, the hag, and the werewolf into the fiery pit of Aslan's cave, and then they all went outside except for Peter]
{With Caspian}

Caspian: So that means that he was behind my mother's death too. He killed both of them at the same time in their sleep
Doctor Cornelius: Yes
Caspian: Murderer, I'll make him pay
Doctor Cornelius: My boy, don't let your heart be filled with vengeance
Caspian: It's not professor, it's filled with a sense of justice, not revenge, and that's because I almost did something really stupid
Doctor Cornelius: You mean almost bringing back the white witch?
Caspian: Yeah, I was so stupid for listening to that damn dwarf
Doctor Cornelius: You didn't know that the dwarf, Nikabrik, was it?
Caspian: Yes
Doctor Cornelius: That he was lying
Caspian: I know, but I should have realized it and I almost made a bigger mess of things all because I wanted my revenge against Miraz. I never meant to fail anyone
Doctor Cornelius: You have never failed me, my boy, but I don't think you're talking about me
Caspian: What do you mean?
Doctor Cornelius: You know what I'm talking about. You don't want to fail the Kings and Queens of old, but more specifically Queen Susan the gentle
Caspian: Now you're just being ridiculous
Doctor Cornelius: Am I? I've seen the way you look at her, I've seen the longing for her in your eyes, and I might wear spectacles, but I am not blind, and you love that woman
(Caspian sighs)
Caspian: Look, I gotta fix this cut on my hand
(He stands up and goes back down through the cave)
Doctor Cornelius: That's a yes
{With Caspian in the cave}
(He was going down when he bumped into Susan)
Caspian: Oh, your highness, forgive me, I wasn't paying attention
Susan: It's fine, give me your hand, it's still bleeding
Caspian: It'll be fine
(Susan took his hand making Caspian feel a spark running throughout his body and then she poured wine on his cut)
Caspian: Ah, fuck!
[Susan then put a Narnian ointment made of alcohol, sweet chestnut, harebell, phoniex tears, and one drop from the cordial. After that, Susan wrapped his hand in a bandage]
Caspian: Thank you, your majesty
Susan: You're welcome
(She pulls away and leaves his side making Caspian look down and go his own way)
[For the rest of the night, everyone rested, everyone was quiet, and everyone was mourning the lost soldiers of their most recent battle against the Telmarines]
