[Saturday morning at 6:30, Peter, Elizabeth, Susan, and the little girls dropped off Lucy at her station, and after their goodbyes, they went to their station for their journey to Italy. They took a train to the coast, which took two hours, and then they got into a ship at around 8:30 am. They arrived in France at around 10:30 am and then they got on another train that was headed for Rome. Their trip took them, 15 hours and 24 minutes, by then it was 4:30 in the morning, and while the train stopped, the clock hit 5:00 am. After that long trip, they got into a bus that took them to their very nice and luxurious hotel, and they arrived by 5:30 in the morning. They had some breakfast in the lobby, then they all took a quick bath, changed clothes, and then it was 6:30 in the morning, which was the girls naturally woke up. Their parents fed them and got them ready for the day, and by that time it was 8:00 am. Afterwards, the group went out to the city and to the famous sights to explore and start studying, so Peter and Susan could write their book. Meanwhile, in Narnia, the Dawn Trader was being repaired to its former glory, and the move from the Telmarine Castle to Castle Cair Paravel had begun. Caspian had appointed Lord Bern the governor of the island of Narrowhaven, Lord Revilian to the island of Avra, Lord Mavramorn on the island of Felimath, Lord Argoz on the island of Terebinthia, and Lord Rhoop on the island of Brenn. He also indicated that he wanted them to do monthly visits to the other five islands and Dragon Island to keep them in check according to the rules of Narnia. Caspian then made a decree that slavery was illegal and banned in every form, for any age group, for either gender or any race and ethnicity. In his decree, Caspian also wrote the consequences of anyone breaking that law. It would be that If anyone was suspected of taking part in slavery, selling, or buying, the person will get a trial but if the person was found truthfully guilty then it would be life imprisonment due to high treason against Aslan and the laws of Narnia. That same night, there was a victory ball to celebrate the defeat of the green mist and Jadis. The next day, Caspian sent the Lords to the islands with enough currency and guards. The months passed, Mr. and Mrs.Pevensie arrived from America back to Finchley, and Peter, Elizabeth, Susan, and the little girls remained in Italy until the end of December. They returned to Finchley on the first day of January but didn't get back until the second day, and by then, Peter and Susan were twenty-one years old. By the end of January, their book on Roman Mythology and Folklore was published and like the others, it was a hit and a best seller. Throughout, the month of February, Peter and Susan began giving lectures on their books at different universities in Europe such as the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the University College of London, and The Imperial College of London. During the first week of March, they went back to the University of Aberdeen to give their lecture too. They then had their lectures at the University of Bologna, Italy, then at the University of Padua, and finally, at the Sapienza University of Rome. Peter and Susan also went back to Greece to lecture at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the National Technical University of Athens. It was the last week of April when they left Greece and then they went off to America again. They first stopped at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire then Kent State University in Ohio, then Indiana University, then Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California, and they finished with the University of California, Berkeley. By then it was the last week of June 1946 but the siblings, Elizabeth, and the girls stayed in California till the weekend was over. That Sunday night, they went back home and arrived at Professor Kirke's manor the next Saturday morning. Everyone spent the day together and Peter and Susan proposed to Elizabeth to go to Egypt and she agreed to talk to her boss about it. Another week passed and Elizabeth's boss approved the idea since they had work to do in Egypt]
{In Professor Kirke's manor}
Edmund: You have got to be fucking kidding me!
Angeline: Edmund!
Edmund: What? You expect me not to be upset, Angie? They're leaving, again, just like always, they're never around anymore
Angelina: Look, I get it, I miss them too
Peter: They're our jobs, Ed
Edmund: Straight after college you stayed in Scotland for your first book, then it was Greece, then it was Italy, and now it's Egypt
Lucy: Yeah, what's next? Hawaii?
Edmund: Lucy, don't put any ideas in their heads
Susan: Huh? That would make a great next book
Edmund: Damn it, Lucy!
Peter: Look you guys, we love what we do, and you should be happy for us
Lucy: We are happy for you, we love hearing all about your adventures, and we love all the nice things you guys bring us back from your travels, but we miss you like crazy
Edmund: Yeah, it's not the same without you guys here
Susan: We miss you guys too
Elizabeth: Yeah, we miss you guys a lot when we're traveling
Peter: It's true, but we always keep you all in our hearts and minds
Edmund: God that was so cheesy
(Peter chuckled)
Peter: Well it's the truth, Ed, but you both have to understand that these are our jobs as mythologists and Elizabeth's job is being a marine biologist
Angeline: No matter how hard it is, we need to support them and learn to understand. It's hard but it takes practice
(They all grouped hugged and even their parents joined them. After a while, they pull away, and sit down)
Lucy: So, what's next after Egypt?
Susan: Well, I'd like to go to Ireland, Hawaii, and then maybe Mexico
Edmund: Wow, alright, but what about the girls? They start school in August and I thought you wanted to enroll them at our old school
Elizabeth: You know he has a point, the girls need a stable place to stay since Pre-K is just around the corner
Peter: And the editor and publisher want us to begin writing our next book pronto
Lucy: What if they stay here with us?
Susan: I don't know, Lucy, they're only four years old, they're still so small, and they need us
Mrs.Pevensie: Well, yes, Susan, you're right, but because they're so young, all this traveling is not the most ideal thing
Elizabeth: That's true too
Susan: I don't know, I can't leave my baby girl
Peter: Well neither can we, but they need to start school, and this time, we can't take them with us
Angeline: Don't worry, guys, Maisie and Carina will have us and Adeline as well, they'll be alright
Mr.Pevensie: Yeah, you've got nothing to worry about
Elizabeth: It's going to be hard saying goodbye to our babies and not seeing them for a couple of months
Peter: I know, my love, but what other choice do we have?
Susan: It doesn't seem like we have another option
Lucy: We'll take good care of them, we promise
Edmund: And we'll call you every day
(Elizabeth sighs)
Elizabeth: I guess
Susan: Let's just get to bed, it's already been a long day
(Everyone shuts everything off and goes to bed but Peter, Elizabeth, and Susan have a restless sleep)
