It had already been a hour since Seonghwa arrived at Yeonwoo's house, at first he didn't know what to do, he didn't really want to intrude but the more he waited around for Yeonwoo to wake up the more anxious he got - what if the boy would be upset with him for being there.

So Seonghwa wandered around at first after looking at the family photos Seonghwa found himself in the kitchen, knowing they missed lunch and the fact that Yeonwoo wasn't feeling well - Seonghwa decided to cook them something.

He wasn't sure what to make at first, he hardly ever cooked since he hardly ever went home and Hongjoong mother was a superb cook.

So much so that he found himself pulling out his phone from his pocket and calling her number.

"Hi Hwa" she said in a sweet tone, Seonghwa couldn't help but smile.

"Hi Mrs. Kim, I have a question" Seonghwa said as he scanned the pantry in front of him, Mrs. Kim hummed while waiting for the question.

"What would be a good meal for someone who has a fever?" Seonghwa asked, Mrs. Kim was a little surprised but also worried.

"Is someone you know sick Hwa?" She asked hurriedly - she knew him since he was born - she knew how anxious he got whenever someone close to him got sick.

"Hmm, our new student council member, it seems to have been brought on by stress - I accompanied him home since he would be alone if he went home, he's still sleeping - it's been an hour" Seonghwa explained, he didn't have to say much more Mrs. Kim understood that he was already quite anxious.

"Okay Hwa first take a deep breath for me okay?" She said and the boy hummed. He took a deep breath and slowly let it out like she taught him when he was younger.

"Good, now something like porridge would be a good meal for your friend, I'll send you the recipe okay? I have the day off so if it gets too much call me and I will be there in a snap of a finger" she told Seonghwa who instantly smiled.

"Thank you Mrs. Kim, I'll make the porridge now" Seonghwa said before saying his goodbyes and hanging up.

He was always thankful for Mrs. Kim, today more so than ever.

Seonghwa read through the recipe and slowly started collecting the ingredients, he followed the recipe to the T and when he was done he plated everything and headed towards Yeonwoo's room, He placed the bowl on the nightstand and went to open the boy's curtain.

Only when he opened them did he realise Yeonwoo had quite a lot of photos in his bedroom as well, he felt in awe and also a little envious but he quickly pushed his feelings aside and went over to Yeonwoo's bed waking the boy up.

Yeonwoo was a little confused at first, sure he woke up just after they got home for a bit before drifting off again but he didn't expect Seonghwa to actually still be there when he woke up.

"Sunbae-nim?" Yeonwoo asked, trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together.

"Hmm here, eat this and I'll explain everything" Seonghwa said and handed him the bowl of porridge, which Yeonwoo happily took.

While Yeonwoo ate Seonghwa explained everything that happened and Yeonwoo couldn't help but feel bad he hated causing trouble for others, especially his parents, and now he caused trouble for the Student Council as well.

"Hey, whatever you're thinking, shoo it away quickly" Seonghwa said with a warm smile, Yeonwoo was a little surprised - it always seemed like Seonghwa could read his mind.

"I'm sorry for causing trouble Sunbae" Yeonwoo said softly just staring down at the bowl in his lap.

"You didn't cause trouble, if any caused trouble it would be Taekyung who is always picking a fight with you for no reason" Seonghwa said in a reassuring tone.

"How did you know?" Yeonwoo asked surprised.

"Easy, Yunho told me you had a fight with a friend, you told me your only friend is Taekyung - two and two together and yeah... I really dislike Taekyung" Seonghwa muttered the last bit but Yeonwoo still caught it.

Yeonwoo was secretly a little happy, the fact that someone was actually getting worked up for him.

Once Yeonwoo finished eating he placed the bowl on the nightstand.

"Thank you Sunbae, it was really good," Yeonwoo said with a small smile.

"We should actually be thanking Mrs. Kim cause I had to get advice and a recipe" Seonghwa admitted, slightly blushing.

"Mrs. Kim?" Yeonwoo asked curiously.

"Hongjoong's mother" Seonghwa explained, Yeonwoo felt that same off pang in his chest again, 'their really close huh?' Yeonwoo thought to himself.

"Have you know Hongjoong Sunbae a long time?" Yeoneoo asked curiously and Seonghwa nodded.

"Our mom's were best friends, they knew one another since junior high and always said once they have kids they would get their kids to get married" Seonghwa said, not being able to keep his laugh in at the end of his sentence - it always sounded like some romance plot their mother prepared for them.

"Oh... '' Yeonwoo said, nodding, his chest felt tight once again - he didn't like it, he hated feeling like this, he had no right to feel like this... Seonghwa was never his to begin with so he had no right to feel jealous about his relationship with Hongjoong.

"I saw some photos downstairs, and these here, I never knew you had an older sister!" Seonghwa said excitedly, he always wanted more siblings but it wasn't meant to be.

"Oh you mean Jiae noona? Hmm she lives on the other side of the country so we don't see one another often but she basically raised me, it's quite obvious right? Our age gap?" Yeonwoo said and Seonghwa nodded.

"Noona was already 18 when I came into the picture, she stayed here during college so while our parents were busy she took care of me, she became a second mother rather than a sister" Yeonwoo explained, Seonghwa was a little surprised he didn't thing they would have such a big age gap but still it seemed like they were close nonetheless.

"How about you Sunbae? Do you have siblings?" Yeonwoo asked curiously, Seonghwa shook his head and smiled.

"My mom left us when I was 4, my dad never remarried, actually... after mom left Mrs. Kim raised me, I hardly saw my dad, even now - his work comes first" Seonghwa said with a bitter smile.

He didn't mean to dampen the mood but it just came out so he couldn't help but feel a little guilty but that was all washed away when Yeonwoo suddenly pulled him into a hug.

"It must be hard Sunbae... I hope you two get a chance to know one another properly" Yeonwoo said in a warm comforting tone, Seonghwa felt as if all his worries and anxieties just washed away at that moment.

"Hmm thank you Yeonwoo, also you can call me Hyung~ you listened to my sob story so I'm sure we are close enough right~" Seonghwa said happily and the younger boy blushed a little but nodded.

Yeonwoo internally thanks Taekyung for stressing him out because he finally had a short but meaningful bonding moment with Seonghwa.
