I finally managed to escape my thoughts. and back into the real world.
"Hey guys! Hows rehearsal going?" I asked hoping no one would bring up me and Lukes conversation that Calum rudely interrupted earlier.
Luke shot me the "Is everything okay?" look. I nodded in his direction. Michael gave me a wink. I flipped him off in response.

Bella: Hey Lily Pad!! So we still on for the movie tonight?
Did you talk to Paige?
Lily: Yeah we are and yes i talked to her and shes coming with.
Bella: Okay cool. 8:00 okay for the movie
Lily: yeah that's good.....let me just go ask Luke
Bella: what do you mean go ask Luke? Have you not asked him yet?
Lily: No....
Bella: OMG Lily what am i going to do with you?
Lily: Idk Love me...
Bella: Okay I guess. Well I have to go get ready. GO TALK TO LUKE....OKAY

Lily be brave you can do this. He's been your best friend for years just go up to him and ask him to go with you to the movies. You just shared something with him you haven't told anyone. You can do this.
"Hey Luke. I have to ask you something." I said.
"Yeah Lil whats up? Is it about your...you know?" He asked sounding really worried.
"No no i'm fine. I was just wondering if you wanted to go to the movies tonight?" I asked praying he would say yes.
"Yes i would love to go with you. Right just you?" He answered sounding kind of sad.
Oh crap. "Well Bella, Jessie, Paige, and I..." I answered feeling really confused because i wasn't sure why he sounded so sad.
"Sounds like a plan" he mumbled, "i guess."
"What did you say?" I asked.
"Nothing." he answered.
"Okay well i'm gonna go get ready and ill see you around eight." i waved at him heading out the door grabbing my stuff in the process. He waved back but didn't say a word. I was walking home when it all finally hit me...
Lily he was sad because he wanted to go out with you. Just you. Oh my god Lily how could you be so stupid. I'll make it up to him. I promise myself I will.
I got home and immediately went upstairs to get ready. I went into my bedroom put on some everyday makeup did my eyeliner and went to my closet. I opened my closet doors and grabbed my black skinny jeans, a grey Baddies t-shirt, and...Luke's grey and black flannel I had in my closet. Even though it is the end of May it is still freezing during the night here in Washington where we live. I ran across my room to my dresser and grabbed my black beanie. I walked down the stairs and got my black vans on and grabbed my tie dye penny board, walked out the door and road down to Luke's house where Bella and Jessie were picking us up. I walked into the house and Lukes eyes went straight to me he looked me up and down and then smiled. I motioned for him to come outside with me. It was only 7:40 and we still had twenty minutes till Bella and Jessie were picking us up. So me and Luke had some time to talk. We walked outside.
"Hey Lily. I really like your flannel I was wondering where you got it?" he chuckled.
"Very funny Luke but I was wondering if we could talk." I said nervously.
"What about?" he said under his breath.
"About us." i answered.
"Okay." he mumbled.
"Luke do you like me?" I asked him.
"Yeah Lily of course I like you you're..." he started.
"Luke i'm serious." i interrupted him.
"Okay okay Lily I like you. I really like you and I haven't been able to tell you because you make me really nervous and I...."
And then I kissed him. I kissed Luke Hemmings. And it was amazing. After getting over the shock that this was actually happening he kissed me back and we both smiled into the it. I never wanted it to end. All I wanted was me, Luke and this moment. No expiration date, no checkpoints, no government just me Luke and this moment. It was great until a door slam and a car horn ruined it all.
"Get a room!" Paige shouted as she walked out of the house.
"Get you some Lily! I'm so proud of you!" Bella shouted from the car her and Jessie were in. I hugged Luke and buried my face into his chest hiding my embarrassment and blushing.
"Okay guys we got to go or we are going to be late. Oh and there's no PDA in the theater." Jessie said chuckling.
"Okay whatever Jessie. Lets go guys!" I shouted to Paige who was still standing by the front door as i got in the car. And we were on our way to the movies.

AT THE MOVIES:
The movie was over and was going to tell everyone about my expiration date when.... we heard this really weird alarm over the intercom system at the theater. Then a female voice came over the alarm.
Hello residents we would like to announce that we are now initiating an immediate checkpoint. A government official will be coming to every theater and hallway through the building. Thank you and have a very nice day.
Luke and I looked at each other. Oh shit.
