ꜰɪɴɴᴇʏ ᴀɴᴅᴇʀꜱᴏɴwas a timid but normal girl, she lead a simple normal life. her mom jumped through various different jobs, her twin brother, ron, sometimes had outbreaks of rage that she had been taught to ignore, her little brother, sam, was always afraid and her dad was a doctor. these things were normal, school was normal, where they lived was actually quite nice since her dad had been able to get the family into a developing planned community that is completely self-contained with solar panels and its own water system. finney was a little too timid and shy sometimes that lead to her getting bullied but, that was still normal, part of a normal childhood and it didn't matter then, she could be as in her comfort zone as she wanted. nothing was going to happen to her if she didn't want to step out of it. that was until the end of the living world as she knew it came crumbling around her.
everything shifted, her mom didn't do odd jobs anymore, her dad turned into a drunk, ron became nicer to her and the only one that didn't really change was sam. he was always scared but he was also the only one that was allowed to be scared and she was the only one that knew no one could be weak anymore. but the anderson's were behind walls, with food, normal people and proper homes so she just let everything be. nothing changed too drastically in her life and with the walls, nothing was going to change too drastically again.
that's if nothing meant everything, due no less than a pessimistic, ebony haired, sheriffs hat wearing boy that her brother knew she should never have become so close with. i mean, what did she expect? they met in a world that had gone to waste, it was only a matter of time before they'd essentially met the same fate.
